the first few 3D movies worked pretty good. like for instance(this was years ago, so don't shoot me plze), spy kids-had tons of shit thrown at you during the movie. now it just looks like the entire movie moved towards you a couple inches. the best 3D piece i have seen was frankly at the science center where we were watching a five minute CGI vid for history, and a guy shot a bullet and came out of the screen. i nearly shat my pants i tell you-it was pretty cool. if only 3D was like that now...

Step Up 3 sucked, the 3D was stupid, most of the time it looked regular 2D and when it was 3D it was usually something stupid like a slurpee

Incase you didn't know, which obviously you don't - The cameras James Cameron used for Avatar (I couldn't tell you specifically what they are), are VERY sparse, I'm talking like, only 10 of them in the world currently.

Clash of the Titans director wanted to use them for the film, but couldn't, because Cameron had them all! The reason they're so special is because of their awesome size/quality ratio, plus they're specially made for 3D filming.

So if a film's using them for 3D, it'll be good.
