I agree, really an underappreciated director. You're free to disagree on the quality of the dubs he produced, of course, but if you ever listen to the director's commentaries (especially with Evangelion), it's clear he did a TON of research on his properties. That speaks very highly of him both as a director and as an owner of a company. It really is too bad that ADV shut down.
@TheShockMaster No...I've loved every dub he directed (that I saw so far). I agree he is very knowledgeable, and really did his homework in regards to the commentaries he always gives. One of the best extras a DVD can have is a commentary with Mr. Greenfield. It is a true shame ADV shut down, but he's still involved/a higher-up in section 23/sentai filmworks, and has been directing at least one dub for them. So he's still around, just very busy I suppose.
I read that article, actually. I'm aware of it...the legal situation surrounding ADV is so damn confusing. Even Tiffany Grant says she doesn't even know the proper name of the company anymore and simply calls it, "The Place."
Did he dye his hair? He had gray hair back in '04, lol.

Dude Matt Greenfeild is amazing. Easily one of the BESt anime dubbing directors in the buisness, and a cool dude.
