Thier are rules to be followed - The object that you are using to crush the prey needs to be wide enough so that thier is no room for the prey to avoid being crushed , and the weight needs to be double or triple the weight of the actual animal . Iv'e captured dozens of squirrels and woodchucks baited with clover and pine nuts . And the trigger mechanism needs to be shaved very fine at the ends and burnished so that even the slightest touch will activate the trap .

I had a really hard time understanding some of the directions. "The V stick is on a angle put the bendy stick bwteen the V bend it and put in the notch you made right here the you made" was a little tough to follow without punctuation. I think I got it right.
