Хорошая по ходовым качествам машина,есть конечно и на "заподе" машины каторые могут быть по характиристикам близки ГАЗ 66,по сути на сегодня этой машине нужен другой двигатель, но это моё мнение.И наверное добавлю что если ГАЗ не смотрел на передовые достежения других стран то такая по характеристикам машина не получилась. ГАЗ 63 и 66 для своего времени были весьма удачными но комфорта извините ни какого нет, переключение передачь (надо привыкнуть) ,ГАЗ 66 отличный неприхотливый автомобиль!

Actually the production stopped in 1999. The replacement is the GAZ-3308. Yes it is a good replacement. It is even more off road. The GAZ 3307 is a city use version of the 3308.

GAZ has nothing to do with IFA, they are completely different brands. Gaz is Russian and IFA is Czech...they both produce very good off-road trucks.
