Mastering American English: Pronouncing the voiced "th" sound

that's what no one was able to explain, the reason my THs sounded like latin american THs with a sound of R (braking the air flow with a tongue) in it is because the air was going in and out on both sides of my mouth, I couldn' t find the reason for that and thanks to you cheryl I've finally solved it :)
