I am paralyzed like Joni too..man what faith she has, we have both been disabled the same length of time my how the years have gone by.I spoke to her once on a radio program they surprized me and got her to talk with me a thrill for sure as I admire all she has done.Jesus is with her and He can and will be with you also if you will let Him.Bless you all.

An incredible inspiration to everyone. Just watched a programme about assisted suicide last night on BBC....so awful. Joni is the antithesis of all that is dark about an unbelieving soul that struggles with disability and sickness. Praise our wonderful Lord and Saviour for the grace and peace He gives us in times of suffering. I can't wait to meet Joni in heaven one day and give her a BIG hug!

No ! God have a plan ... that beak will be useful after it will be out of the egg ... and it is locked in that egg only for a period so it can develop for the real world

On the earth we develop, and God allowed suffering for a reason, to help us develop in a certain way. Ask Joni !

@brunetachka yes but whyh should we suffer if god loves us anyway that is my point, god can do anything, therefore he could change the divine plan so that we should not have to suffer. the truth is we all die, we experienced death before birth and will experience it afterwards, mortality is a fact, part of the human experience, i do not blame this woman for hoping that she will experience a better life after this one, although she is not speaking truth, our lives are short and full of suffering

@saulwilliams56 He will end her suffering soon. That is when the body dies, then her spirit goes onto heaven. Death for Christians isn't a bad thing, but a good thing. For no one can see God and live. Flesh and blood can not enter the kingdom of God. See John 3.

To those of you who doubt what God can do

You ask the question "why not heal her 100%?"

Why heal her 100% when her hardship is what leads her to eternity? Healing her would not save her. Everyone dies. This life does not matter. Sometimes we have to have our lives radically changed to have our perspective set in the right way.

We are not happy in spite of our hardships. Rather, our hardships give us the ability to be happy.

Our bodies are for the Earth, our souls are for God, therefore some people might struggle physically but they are with God spiritually and that makes them strong on the outside as well. A true believer will worry about her/his soul rather than the body because its given to everyone for a certain period of time on Earth and noone knows when they will die. I encourage eveyone to think more deeper and search for something that is more valuable than just living this physical life.

@kmstreet64 what a awful thing to say. You know every.. EVERY person that came to Jesus got healed? Not one did he say " I want you to stay this way". We are all FREE. God can NOT force us or we would ALL be saved. This woman told GOD what God could not do. God does NOT play Favorites. Rom 8:28 for the GOOD! Sickness is BAD. ALL GOOD things come for GOD. GOD WILL and can HEAL. With out FAITH we cant please Him. Just ASK and believe HE WILL heal you! Look to HIM not man.

I am a quad too and have read her three books, and found it painful to read as not beliving BS.

Good luck to her but I wish to she would stop fucking with a non existance deity for a cure or any other BS and get behind funding medical science for a true cure of this problem.

@aco12231964 She isn't looking for a cure too her physical body, that body will die if you read what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15. Everything on earth is temporal as Jesus said in Matthew 6, look ahead to the future, where do you see yourself? Heaven or hell? Yeah, it's sad that this happened, but it's not the only thing. In John 3:16 it speaks about the Love of God, this is in reference to a pity love, which is a merciful love, cause He doesn't give you what you deserve. It's a long suffering
