  • great song. nashvegas needs to be more like this

  • GOD I love this song.......my Dad's favorite......

  • Great funny vid. Love spitting at mexicans!!!! Yeehaw

  • wat

  • Thanks Paycheck You are one the Greatest

  • I agree 100% . There is no Country Music in today's Country Music... They need to bring it back before they are all gone...

  • I went to his last show in San Diego. Outstanding!!!

  • Right on, I miss the True Country Music too.

  • Yup, 678way, just love TEXAS and the original Colorado Kool-Aid, which I have since 1966!!!!

  • yep , other than the folks you here on willie's place , ther is no more country music . i don't have any of the local radio stations that supposedly play country in my presets . this song and singer came from the greatest generation of music, there will be no more coming .

  • There is no country music any more. I hate turning on the radio, and wanting to listen to some good country music, and they don't make or play real country music any more. Like this Jason Aldean, rapping on the Country Music Awards. Disgraceful. At least David Allen Coe is still around.....for now. Even Hank Jr isnt good any more. This so called country music makes me sick any more.

  • @mmduncan915 Be careful saying the name "David Allen Coe". The feelings police will track you down.

  • @mmduncan915 theres a little bit around, its just hard to find, check out bob wayne, hank 3, and the devil makes three

  • @mmduncan915 YOUR SURE RIGHT

  • @mmduncan915 YOUR SURE RIGHT

  • Although my adult musical tastes have diverted from this....I was brought up on CW music, and I am totally grateful! This is one of my absolute favorites...."Aw, hell...he can't hear - not on this side, anyway..."

  • Way back when, in '77, Bob Collins, a "host/DJ" at WGN AM720 Chicago, turned me on to this masterpiece. Whatever happened to entertainment on AM??? Even then WGN was known as talk radio, but they still played some amazing music.

  • AMEN this is country music the real thing!!!!

  • johnny was the man ione of the best outlaw

  • I still write the good stuff. I need fans please pass me on so that we can continue to have music like this around for our children.

  • One of my favorites of all times!

  • who ever dreamed up writing this...bring em a box ah band aids, cool

    as kool aid.

  • A MILLION NAMES FOR H TOWN BUT MY FAVORITE IS HOUSTONED. THAT FITS THE PROFILE ;)

  • Can't beat this !!

  • make damn sure you have your knife-proof earmuffs ...

  • I love this music

  • can someone please post johnny's version of old rugged cross ? what a great performance. i loved him saying hello to me during the song as well !!

  • Great musicians, helluvah voice. REAL country. No rhinestones here, just a lot of cajones! Love ya, Johnnie!

  • I LOVE COLORADO KOOL-AID!!!

  • i love texas

  • This story tells one hell of a song or is that the other way around :)

  • that was kick ass i love it!!!!!

  • hey all u big mean drunks watch for them mexicans

  • he isn't singing, he is speaking xd

  • I think Red Sovines version is better, he seems to be a better storyteller.

  • I hate to tell everyone this but this is Red Sovine Not Johnny Paycheck

  • @teddybeardreams1960... another good reason not to drink the bongwater...

  • @teddybeardreams1960 red sovine did not make this song he did story lines about this for example teddy bear

  • @teddybeardreams1960 actually jp is doing this song

  • @teddybeardreams1960

That sounds to me like Johnny Paycheck's version that came out in 1978. Red Sovine may have done a cover of it later on, but this is DEFINITELY Johnny Paycheck.

  • Look at the hair on those gnarled hands....

  • This happens every time I find myself drinking Colorado Kool-Aid and talking to Mexicans.

  • This man is so epic, he even had to sing, just talk

  • Its a can of Coors......

  • One truly GREAT song. RIP Johnny.

  • Classic song!!!! I love it....... i have no words to explain.....

  • he walked over and spit in ma mexican friends ear!

  • good song better when sung by red sovine

  • @biggman8406 No. Just no

  • Gotta love Johnny lol too cool !

  • Love this song, one of my fav's.

  • lol this is great

to bad he died broke he had a had life wrote some nice stuff

  • Man, that was a funny song then and still hilarious now! Gotta love Johnny Paycheck. Take this job and shove it!!!!!! lol RIP Johnny, you were one of the greats. We're all still listening! For Sure!!!

  • Bring Big Man a box of band aids. That great!

  • down in You-ston, Texas ((Houston)).

    LOL!!

  • I said "ain't that right big man"

  • .....and that's Colorado kool-aid

  • Oldie but a goodie god how many coors have I drank over the years & ran into the same fool who thinks that he can whoop any ass in the bar sure enough somebody puts him down & buy's a round & everybody's happy.

  • It's settled, I will never call Coors anything but Colorado Kool-Aid from this moment on.

  • haha he cut that thing off even with the sideburn

  • i've listened to johnny paycheck since i was a young girl and i still love listening to his songs. he was and is one of the greatest and i'll always remember you johnny. r.i.p. johnny.

  • I dont know about you but I fuckin love Johnny Paycheck

  • here he is again folks johnny paycheck doing another one of his famous outlaw resitations. i never heard anyone do them as good as johnny can. he had his ups and downs but he lived life just the way he sang and wrote. just ask mickey mcgivren. he new johnny just like a brother. it was mickey`s brother mark who introduced me to johnny, best time i ever had meeting him. he was the greatest. r.i.p. johnny. your freind ronny layne.

  • Redneck and Mexican got along fine.

  • I've been looking for this for a while, but couldn't remember who sang it. Thanks for posting it.

  • OHIO MAN Paycheck was

  • "down in you-ston, Texas"

    LOL!!!

    y' just gotta love Texas.

  • @678way YUP!!

  • NO DOUBT,, I CAN YOU RELATE??

  • Shot a man in a juke joint. Did some time. Came out and continued on. Paycheck was a ledgend. Pure hard country. God bless his memory.

  • Talkin cool aid ....awe hell he cant hear...he aint got no ear...bar maid set us up another round...awsome

  • Makes me get drunk

  • this is soooooooooooo good

  • It it true that Johnny's prison sentence was for manslaughter? He got drunk and shot up a bar, accidentally killing someone?

  • I really miss this guy! I'm so tired of turning on the radio and hearing some kid singing about crap that I don't know anything about. Nashville is really just after the money and have forgotten what REAL country music is about. Guys that produce this crap that is coming out of Nashville should be ashamed to show their faces in public.

  • @coleyman1 Hell yeah. Every real American should agree with you. All of this lady antebellum and taylor swift stuff that is so called country music needs to stop. Country music isn't about love everytime. Its about having a good time and living the good life. If a song doesn't have a banjo, fiddle or harmonica in it, then it is not a real country song.

  • @rdsxfn102938 Amen!!

  • @coleyman1 Amen, man.

  • @coleyman1 AMEN Brother!!!!! Couldnt agree more!

  • One of the best songs in the world reminds me of my ex father in law talking shit about his son which we both dont like. He loves me on the other hand....Heres to you Kenny Shaver I love you much.....Kat

  • Better make sure you got your knife-proof earmuff.

  • Hey Everbody Thieflnlaw is a faggot

  • This sont is kewl i like dis one

  • Yes, this one is Paycheck.

There's another one here in youtube performed by Sovine.

    But they're both good.

  • grew up on this sh@t sounds like the old am radio to me too

  • Actually, it's Red Sovine. I've heard it enough times in my life to know. It ain't Johnny Paycheck.

  • @flatbroke4ever Red Sovine has a deeper voice. Just sayin'........

  • gangsta country rap !!! kicks ass!!!

  • One reason I like this song, is that, 3 times, I've seen something, real close to this.. Let this song be a lesson, my friends..That's 1 reason I'm 65 years old..

  • this iz shit music....listen to fuckin real music u dumbasses

  • @ThePS360elite1 You better be glad your there and Im here. Ill tell ya something boy. You can have your opinion, but you better make sure you can back it up if front of people you insult. You shuttin the fuck up would be nice, but Id rather make you shutup my own way, nigger.

  • @liveevil9081 im not black mother fucker

  • @ThePS360elite1 I didnt say you were black. I said you were and are a nigger

  • @liveevil9081 wutever fool

  • @liveevil9081 also im not in front of a bunch of people so i can say wutever i want to fucking say

  • brings back memories....way back to when this "BEATLE" fan discovered Merle, Willie, Waylon and Hank JR. This song came on the radio and I told the wife, can't go in the store yet....gotta hear Johnny Paycheck. She never was a fan of country, but was charmed by this one. She passed on about a year ago...and ya know what, just now she's sittin' next to me again in my mind, waitin' to go into the store...June Dear I know this one, remembered has to bring a smile once more.

  • I'm a metalhead and even I love this song! Paycheck was HardCore just like Johnny Cash! Thanks for posting

  • hehehehe this song is awesome and funny too

  • Yeah, Back in '64 whenI was at Lowery ,we got a 3 day pass, signed out some fishin' gear. Headed to the mountains, fryin' pan, eggs, crackers and butter. Those trout never tasted better. Of course, we had some Colorado Kool-Aid, pull it out of the stream, so cold it hurt goin' down. ohh yeah...

  • Colorado Kool-Aid, yea, took the tour of the plant (many times) when I was stationed in Denver. Oh, and Lynchburg lemonade really is lemonade. The county where Jack is made, is dry! They serve you lemonade on the tour. "Jack is my father an Charlie is my cousin" Vacation destinations are breweries and distilleries, Hey, you gotta have some place to go!!

  • 35 Years + Banquet Beer SHOVELHEADS FOREVER - Lived way high there in the Rockies... course a cig/beer ( see above )/.mw goes a long way living at the timberline.....Hell, I boiled a pot of beens there for 2 days -they never got soft RIP J

    FTW-

  • @TheRoadtester

There's a loophole in the law that makes Moore County, TN ---where Lynchburg is--- a dry county. Retail sales of alcoholic beverages are outlawed in Moore County. However, you can still give it away or manufacture it.

  • hey Bigballa, go suck a turd.

  • RIP Paycheck : ! Miss ya

  • Hey bigballa20ii U are the one that SUCKS!!! Paycheck was and is one of the best country ballad and singers EVER!!! So keep ur trap shut~~~~

  • Johnny Paycheck is awesome

  • For those who think this aint country. Its because you aint got no BRAIN !!!. I said aint that right big man!!!!!

  • @Thieflnlaw

if u ask any one that knows shit about counrty will tell you he is one of the best of all time

  • ur a moron. thats GREAT country. listen to the story, u must not be a southern american who enjoys drinking =[

  • This "guy" as you call him is what two thirds of the country songs are written about. He may not be your favorite, but I can understand!! It's hard to listen to Johnny Paycheck and Inglebert Humperdink at the same time!! Get a life!!

  • @ThiefInLaw why dont you go f*ck yourself. paycheck was one of the finest country singers who ever performed. you can ask any country legend and they will tell you the same. open up your yuppie scum ears, retard!

  • Fuck off. I can't help it your taste is music is terrible.

  • Is he even still alive?

  • Sorry, but Donald Eugene Lytle (Johnny Paycheck) died in 2003. RIP Johnny....

  • Van Ghohed hisass

  • Paycheck was a real man..did time for for shootin' a guy in a beer joint....not real smart ,but REAL tuff guy.And a great story teller

  • LOL Johnny was a true poet and a man of the people. He was no gentleman, but he was not the racist that many claim he was. RIP Johnny.

  • you might say the little mexica just didn't give a dern.......lmao

  • Uh, a chorus???? The song's really less about Colorado cool aidor what the fuck it is, and more about the dangers of a nice minding his own business mexican guy.

  • haha , dont mes with them mexican / swtch-blade carrying fools

  • A truly great drinking song.

    R.I.P. Johnny Paycheck
