They fucked up by splitting raw and smackdown. The ratings went down alot when they had brand only. Smackdown ppvs were lowly rated. At one point out of about 30 people who watched wrestling , EVERYONE watched the raw ppvs but everyone got bored of smackdown. Tri brand ppvs are alot better than brand only!

Nah its all due to them hyping wrestlemania and the draft. When people see names like cena on smackdown/HHH on raw, its an effort to make people tune in. Once it gets past the draft and Mania youll rarely see interaction between raw and smackdown. There wont be enough air time for all the big names if they merged, so i can't see it happening =[

Well, to be honest SmackDown! always put on the better wrestling product on their shows. However, most of RAW PPVs were better than SmackDown's yes. Which is quite sad considering the talent SmackDown! had over RAW. The best SD PPVs from the split PPV time was Vengeance 2003, and No Way out 2006.
