I think it's Hap Gar/Lama pai in the beginning as far as I a know Lok hap ba forms doe not begin with hands claps together.....If I'm wrong then correct me, please
allow me to retort.....Cliff lok never studied Choy li Fut. It has been known to be a champion in Water Boxing(luk hop ba fa) and Hop Gar. The beginning sequence is not CLF as the form is it's almost the same as the Lama Pai's (Sharon yeung) who stars in this film too
Actually, you should rent or look up Choy Lee Fut the Movie he's in it as is Lee Koon Hung, its the story of Hung Sing's CLF Legacy, So Yes Cliff Lok did study CLF he did not use Lok Hap Ba Fa in Choy Lee Fut the Movie, he was told to use CLF.
Actually Choy Lee Fut was being represented by Lee Koon Hung. Cliff Lok may have played Hung Sing in Choy Lee Fut movie but he ultimately uses Lok Hap Ba Fa.
I am terribly sorry to say, but I don't really know. I saw this movie on a betamax tape several(and I do mean several) years ago. But believe me, I would gladly tell you if I knew.
i no longer have access to the original camera negative, so there is nothing i can change about this clip that couldn't be almost exactly reproduced by your changing the settings on your monitor
Cool!!

That's Choy li Fut master Cliff Lok at the very beginning, so the first sequence is almost certainly Choy Li Fut.

I think you are correct. The tiny type above Cliff Lok's name is very hard to read but it looks like Luk Hop Ba Fa. Good call!
