There definitely needs to be a bit more intellectual rigor and leadership of the tea party movement and Sarah Palin and the Glen Beck are compromising this by trying to make it a partisan - Repub v Dems issue. It's about America coming back to constitutional government - ie the rule of law as opposed to the rule of special interest groups.

Unlike Mr Political Agnostic I don't have time to attend rallies because I have to get up each day and do this thing call work. If I don't then I don't eat or keep my house. My boss seems more concerned about my being at work then what my political beliefs are. Sometimes I have to do the work of two people because the other person is off without a good reason, like this guy.

The Tea Party is Racist.
In North Carolina they had a speaker named George Hutchins who was a candidate for congress. Hutchins does not believe slavery was wrong or that it was harmful to those who were enslaved. He has a website and an article on the Civil War.
He is also in this video addressing the Tea Party.

This is so bias. This is why I don't watch the news anymore: instead of reporting what's actually going on, they report a one-sided view on the news. They probably interviewed dozens of people and tried to find the idiots in the crowd and make them seem like the majority. I really wanted to know what was going on at the protests, not see some arrogant woman do an unprofessional report.

I thought I was watching MSNBC. I saw a plant from another video posted today. A supposed black tea party participant made to look stupid. That piece was bias, just like this one. And once again the edited clips were meant to make my fellow patriots look bad. Why can't the press just report? The press was supposed to keep tabs on government.
