The reason why I say our orientation is a choice is because you can have those natural feelings/emotions for the same sex only but ignore your nature and conform your life to what other people think is normal or acceptable. You can be with a man for 40 yrs but only want a woman your whole life. You just wouldn't live the life your inside nature intended.

I chose to be straight at age 27. Prior to that I had a few gay experiences. Like alot of young kids (perhaps most) I experimented (just fooling around kid stuff really) with fellatio when I was only about 8 years old. But not again for many years until right before I made my choice. Since then I've had a few gay dreams now & again. But I am happily straight. In fact, if I wasn't married, and a Christian, I'd probably be looking at pictures of naked women right now. But I have no regrets.

The reason why I say that is because for example (its not a choice), you can't really make a choice of what your body longs for and prefers as far as sex/emotional feelings go. If we can choose who we have feelings for, life would be so easy. If we can choose what our body naturally accepts or wants, life would not be so complicated.

No one is born with much knowledge of anything in their head, but certain properties do exist in the brain when born. I think what you mean is you were born gay but was not aware of it until a certain age because as babies we do not understand much about ourselves until we develop more. Some of us develop one way, others in a different direction. I strongly believe some people are actually born gay, and some choose to be gay. But ultimately only you can speak for yourself.

Well actually there is. Science shows that how more sons a women has carried the more chance there is the next son is gay. This chance grows with a percentage of 5%. So if a women is pregnant of her first son, the changes are 2% this one is gonna go out gay. The next son has a 7% changes he's gay. I chose to be straight at age 27. Prior to that I had a few gay experiences. Like alot of young kids (perhaps most) I experimented (just fooling around kid stuff really) with fellatio when I was only about 8 years old. But not again for many years until right before I made my choice. Since then I've had a few gay dreams now & again. But I am happily straight. In fact, if I wasn't married, and a Christian, I'd probably be looking at pictures of naked women right now. But I have no regrets.

Not having the "knowledge" that you were gay when you were young is irrelevant. You could, for example, be genetically predisposed to alcoholism (as many are) and have no knowledge that you are that way -- until you try alcohol of course. Same is true of homosexuality. In fact, many children don't know what their sexuality is until they hit puberty. That doesn't mean they're asexual simply because they don't know as a child.

I turned and told that person that knowing me, I would have them out shopping and helping me pick out patterns and furniture for their house.
