Don't get me wrong! I LOVE my country and WILL defend it, if any country tries to invade it. Why? Because I'm a PERSIAN! But, my point is that the mullahs have weakened our military capabilities. They spend mostly on arming proxies (aka "terrorists") and reverse-engineering military equipment and weapons. Iran's military spending is INFERIOR, compared to what it used to be, when no Arab country dared to call our PERSIAN GULF bogus names and talk trash about us. That's NOT a sign of strength!

Also the AK47 is the most copied rifle and making those copies a lot worse. Special Forces also uses the AK47 since they will more likely to find enemies using them.

The special forces are using them since it's an advantage to know what your enemy is using. More likey the enemies will be using an AK-47 since it's the most produced rifle. In terms of reliability the AK-47 is unmatch, but due to the design that withstand combat wear it's only accurate to about 300 meters.

Also, since Special Forces are familiar with the AK-47 they can always use the rifle from fallen enemies. Special Forces are train and familiarized with different weapons around the world. That way if they have to they'll can use the enemy weapons to their advantage.

The AK-47 is the most avaliable and reliable and the most popular assualt rifle but that does not make it the best. The most important aspect of an assault rifle is it's accuracy, since rifle are design to kill personnel. Of course you need to learn how to clean and take care of it.
