The images of Dave Flett and Chris Hamlet Thompson are not really appropriate to this great song; the vocalist/guitarist who recorded this track was actually Mick Rogers. Flett and Thompson didn't arrive till The Roaring Silence.
I have alway's loved this song and the LP. Bring's back GREAT high school memories. Every one at that time line was getting stoned. I was all about PEACE!!!!!
i saw this tour in OTTAWA CANADA in the 70's......... then later a few years saw NIGHTENGALES AND BOMBERS tour....... they were amazing...... solar fire concert was around xmas... the singer came out in a MONTREAL CANADIANS hockey jersey and reindeer antlers... was very cool
this one got mr doodles to sleep, real name hari.i had this on vinol, borrowed it never got it back.if you are listerning, and you have no problem sleeping you need to have a look at where you are,do what is right, step 4.
Manfred's organ tone screams.......Glorified Magnified was my favorite....had the thrill of seeing them at The Whisky in LA for the Glorified tour. Killer.

As kids, we grew up listening very intently to this album and love it still. Rock in a 7/4 time signature! Way ahead of it's time. The whole record is quite a journey and worth picking up, if you can find it. Cheers!
It's hard for me to say which song was my favorite. Back in the day we kinda let the album play from needle drop to end groove and then flip it and do the same.We were a band back then and tradition sort of dictated the LP play. Our drummer had a cat named Joy. She always rode on his shoulders, so he was the Joybringer! Fun memories!
@buxongs unfortionately, songs in 7/4 time signature was not ahead to it's time, since progressive rock first emerged in the end of the 60's and blossomed throughout the 70's..bands as yes, king crimson, ELP, jethro tull...not to mention the jazz fusion bands of the 70's...
