Well, the first time I knew this song was written by Kesha I was a bit shocked! As much as I love both artist (as I ASBSOLUTELY do) I didn't figure out at first how their voices style could match like this. This is just a demo, so $ voice is a bit raw, but sounds good! The Veronicas did a great job also, and Is one of their best songs!
I like both versions personally. :D They're both pretty good... I like the way Kesha sings the beginning of it, but I like the way the Veronicas sing the part at like 0:50 ... To me, Kesha sounds a little screechy, more than like she's singing... *shrug*

I was tolerant of this song until I heard the horrible autotune. Yuck! Ke$ha is good at writing songs I give her that, and her voice is decent, but as soon as that autotune comes in (especially in an amazing song such as this one) I lose all respect for her song. :/ sadly its the harsh truth. But maybe thats just my opinion

THEY DID NOTHING ILLEGAL. Yes Kesha wrote it, she never officially released it. She was a songwriter first. The veronicas openly admitted they did not write it, if u read the CD booklet they did not take credit, they heard the demo, like it, and asked if they could record it, got permission, and released it . As for the song, the veronicas are better singers, thats it...they just are...no auto tune needed. I prefer the veronicas any day.

I think the mature ones here can all agree that Kesha (who wrote the song before she became famous) and the Veronicas sing this song very well. I really gotta give Kesha props because the song is very passionate and the lyrics evoke a lot of strong images. This song makes every girlfriend that I have ever been with come back to mind. I have nothing but fond memories of those women. Fate is the only thing that took us apart from one another. I've had my moments of wishing any of them were with me

Taylor shouldn't be played on country radio either, she's a pop singer not country. When Kesha sings without auto tune she's amazing, she just uses auto tune to get a certain sound, not because she can't sing because she can!
