  • Great -- a thank you from Italy.

  • I heard a latter version, I downloaded it from somewhere that I cant recalled, it had 1404-time on my hands as title, I love that version, does anyone know what I am talking about? Trying to find that version with little luck

  • Ray Noble and Al Bowlly! What more could you ask for?

  • The song "Simply" BEAUTIFUL! The video, "Simply" Funny! I LOVE THIS!!!

  • It's sheer bliss listening to Al Bowly with Ray Nobles Orchestra the perfect musical partnership, and the lyrics I wish song writers today could equal some of the songs of the 30's, wonderful just wonderful.

  • I have an early Glenn Miller version of this. This version is much lighter in style with piano use, whereas the Miller version has no singing. I like both to be honest. Al Bowlly is the cream in anyone's coffee though, easy to listen to.

  • dance music at its best.

  • @tomtomtom692 brill

  • Mostly overlooked is the Piano of Harold Jacobson. Listen again - its consumate. If you can try "Sally on Sunday" even better m222rjr

  • Ray Noble and Al Bowlly are a new discovery for me too. Just Excellent. I'm in love with this music!!!

  • Al Bowlly sounds best when he's with the Ray Noble Orchestra. Talk about consummate musicians!!

  • This ditty has a different feeling after viewing Love is the Devil...

    It's a keeper.

  • Wow! What a wonderful video this is! Could somebody tell me please what Charlie Chaplin movie this was from? I bet it was Modern Times was it not? Lovely song goes beautifully with this movie clip! Thank you my friend! :)

  • @califgirl101 --It's from The Adventurer, one of the remarkable series of twelve comedies Chaplin made for the Mutual Film Company, they are among his finest work and also important documents in the development of cinema. This one was more slapstick than the rest. I believe it's 1917.

  • @kamilla1960 Sweet! Thank you for the fyi! :)

  • Good Old Al !!!

    You can almost hear him thinking--Am I going to hit this next note--or not---YES !!! It's a take !!!

  • The music really matches the video well. Nice job!

  • I have only recently disscovered Ray Noble and Al Bowlly and realy enjoy it - thank you for posting these tunes.

  • Bowlly supreme as ever!

  • Crème de crème (Time On My Hands !).
