Thanks SO much!!!! I have it all written down in terms of left-hand chords and this video made it SO easy to learn, compared to using sheet music! I appreciate it!
holy crap this is awesome!! i love this song and i've always wanted to play it! thank you so much for posting :) you should check out some of my videos, thanks!
Do you know of any acoustic versions of the song...I want to sing to it but I can't find any! Or do you have one? If I sang along with it I'd give you full credit for the music part...
thank you soooo much! i was having a little trouble with the song by just sheet music and this just got everything perfectly... well.. to my ears at least lol :D
Hey thanks for the tutorial. I bought the sheet music because I was having some difficulty playing it by ear. Great tutorial, which helped me. I wanted to politely note that in the pattern for the left hand, after the first beat, there is a rest so that the left hand plays a note, right hand plays 2, and then back to the left. It seems as though you have all beats played without a rest or skip in the beat. It took me some training just to be able to mentally do it.
I saw this video 8-10 months ago and I learned in 47 minutes. Because of this tutorial, I am now inspired to write, read and play music and not just play by ear.
Thank you so much. I still play it whenever I want to remind myself of why I am an aspiring pianist.
I'm not entirely sure I played the left hand rhythm correctly, but I do know that she only plays a single note at a time with her left hand (at least watching the live videos of her playing). She just leaves out a few notes rather than playing straight 8ths on the left.
mmm... I love Keep Breathing. I had the piano part figured out a while back, so I'd be glad to post a tutorial for it. It might not be til after next week that I get around to it. I'll let you know.
To seaj1290: The ending, though I can't explain the timing, remains the same for the right hand, and the left hand plays E, C, B, A, B, C, A, G, F, G, A, G, then the G an octave lower, and back up to the original C. I'm not 100% sure that's right, but it sounds right to me. I hope that helps.
Ah great Nick ... now I gotta go dust off the Wurlitzer. Worse, I gotta go find the actual song and listen to it. You're creating work for me son. (grin).
Thanks DUDE! :) I just barely started learning piano and I got this down in like half an hour! You're an excellent teacher.

Thanks for this tutorial. it sounds like the song is comparitively easy; no accidentals ;) I'm sure I can get this down eventually.
God bless
