Last year I went to a funeral of a 62YO woman in our theatre group.

It was a lovely &well-attended send-off, but there was a guy sitting at the back who removed his coat to reveal a T-shirt saying “I shagged [deceased’s name] in 1982!!” Obviously this upset everyone (especially her husband), but he could not be persuaded to remove it or go.

Turns out he was a genuine old flame encouraged by some 2-bit TAXPAYER-FUNDED counsellor to “confront his past” with ridiculous stunts like this…

Water finds the path of least resistance and man does too, the difference is that man feels guilty about it. God doesn't want someone to marry a bad wife-- the Bible describes a good wife in proverbs 31. The modern American woman would be taken out and stoned. There is nothing wrong with marrying a good woman who is a good wife. Back in the day men would divorce a bad woman or beat her. None of this stuff is what was intended. Paul-- you are just wrong.

No I don't think it much matters. How much you are attracted to a person grows with how mature you are and how much you love them. As you grow closer the more attracted you will be. Conversly even the most beautiful woman is unattractive during the bitter strggles of marraige.

This is the kind of stuff that gives me an uneasy feeling In my stomach because I always say I dont want to get married or have kids that I just want to live a beautiful life alone in a world of peace and not get invovled in any type and be free of life's problems so I push the guys away because I say NO! @Angelkid190 Don't worry if you don't want to commit to a husband. It's good to stay pure & undefiled. Dedication to study God's word is the highest form of worship that one can pursue. But if you think about sex, lusting for a man & desiring that type of relationship, then it is better to get married.

1 Corinthians 7:8,9 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
