Not really. Pakistan was part of India from 1859 to 1947. Before this it was Mughal muslim rule and the subcontinent was divided into all the different provinces you see today. before that Pak and India were part of different kingdoms and only a few shared.

Pakistanis and Indians are not the same. Its called Ethnic groups, look it up. West Paks and East Paks are different from North Indians, who are different from East Indians and South Indians.
