It is a sad day when talentless people like the Twilight cast get their stars on the walk of fame... seriously, I just came back from watching the trailer for Breaking Dawn Pt 1, and it makes Bieber's "Baby" seem fantastic in comparison. Yeah. That's just how bad it is.

I think I know why Stephanie made Bella so bland...she is a fantasy fulfillment character. If she had any really specific character traits it wouldn't be as easy for the people who like these movies to project themselves onto her. Basically, she's bland so other people can easily imagine themselves in her place. If she had a really specific trait or talent or style, she wouldn't suit everyone, but being as blank as she is, anyone can put themselves in her place.

I feel like I'm the only female in the world right now that HATES this film with a passion. I find it so insulting that I had to sit through that tripe and expect to enjoy it. I don't care about the books I never read them not going to now. The acting was horrible by the main cast, the characters I found unlikeable and quite frankly I can't believe such a bad film ended up this popular.
Not insulting the fans. But this film could've done better.

@Blazenix1 haha yes, i think you are too!.. my sis loves these films lol she even has the books & she has read them a few time.. i honestly dont see whats the big deal about this film.. there are plenty other films out there that are much much better:)

@Blazenix1 I use to like the books, but the minute I saw the movie, I immediately noticed the flaws of the book.
Bella is the defination of a Mary-Sue.
She's not hot, yet has a Vampire and a Werewolf fightning over her.
I vote Jacob and Edward eat her and become a gay couple.
Also, it made Vampires known for being sparkly fairies, not blood sucking creatures.

@krishiiiwashere I've never read the books but the movie definately sucks. Vampires are now sex objects. Not creatures of the night. But things to dream about. Although people always probably always had an attraction towards vampires. But now its become crazy. You really don't want to see the creepy crap the hardcore fangirls have made and created for this thing. They're actually quite disturbing.

Interview with a Vampire was a better story about Vampire family interaction
Innocent Blood had a better "afraid to love" under tone
Once bitten,My Best fried is a Vampire,and Love at first Bite were better Romantic Comedies/light hearted vampire movies

I was dragged by my sister to watch this with her in the cinemas back when it came out, and when I wasn't looking for something to hang myself with, I thought 'Is it ALWAYS cloudy'? They have vampires walking out during the day, every day, because its never sunny.

Låt den rätte komma in completely trounces this twilight fad in absolutly every respect. Where we have hollywood stars and marketing on one side, we have true acting on the other. Where we have mediocre computer generated scenes on the one side, Låt den rätte komma in shows deep and beautiful emotions. It´s a must watch before the american remake, as it will probably ruin it. Want some excellent vampire movies that you need to get out of recent hollywood vampire stuff? i suggest renting these: Martin (1977), Near Dark, Vamp (1986 with Grace Jones), The Hunger, Lifeforce (Vampires from space!), Daybreakers, Rabid, The Omega Man, Last Man on Earth, Vampire Hunter D 1 & 2, Let The Right One, Def By Temptation, Rabid, The Keep (Can be seen on Youtube), etc.
Seek these out and you'll thank me.

I'm a chick and I HATE Twilight. Seriously. The story is annoying, the vampires suck, the acting in the movies is horrible and um. . . Yeah. There's nothing redeeming about it. Plus it's teaching 12 year olds that when they fall in love like OMGZ I'm going to be with him foreverrrrrrr. Ugh.

I saw the first sign that this was gonna be bad when the part about Bella moving was actually part of the plot it would be fine if she was moving away from her current bf in Arizona but no she has no current bf and she moves for unknown reasons and meets a bunch of pussy ass pixie hollow rejects!! THIS IS THE PLOT PEOPLE!!!!! and silly twilight fans thought this sounded like a good book/movie

Twilight, mkay to me, it was alright, there are many things it coulda gone without like the sparkly vampires, everyone wanting to get into Bella's pants, and just the sappy jizz that make Edward such a pussy with no personality. This is probably the only possibly decent move of the Twilight series (which isn't saying much though), other two so far, fuck 'em, bunch of bull shit.

I think I know why Stephanie made Bella so bland...she is a fantasy fulfillment character. If she had any really specific character traits it wouldn't be as easy for the people who like these movies to project themselves onto her. Basically, she's bland so other people can easily imagine themselves in her place. If she had a really specific trait or talent or style, she wouldn't suit everyone, but being as blank as she is, anyone can put themselves in her place.
That said, this movie sucks.

@Nyghtshade409 I think Bella's bland cause Stephanie sucks at making decent characters. She basically portrayed Bella after herself, and she's said that too. Twilight is basically a wet dream of Stephanie that, for some reason, became all teenage girls wet dreams.
