  • Thank you Sally for this upload.

It's really cool to be able to look back and history and see our roots.

  • Sweet Sixties Song.

  • this is really lousy--too mechanical and a little tinny.

  • @79barkingspider

haha - how things were done in that era...but you have to love the dress aye!!

the sound isn't that great but it is a very old clip!

  • Definitely not the Pat Carroll who was on the Danny Thomas Show(with Sid Melton)

  • Further proof that white people are boring

  • YOU'LL COME TO ME WHEN YOU WANT TO SETTLE DOWN

  • @skizzy611 lol

  • Hmmm. I like Pat Caroll (especially her appearances with Olivia), but her version of this sucks, compared to the original...

  • This is the Pat Carroll who teamed up with Olivia Newton-John after Olivia's Mom and Dad divorced and Olivia and her mom moved back to England and Olivia and Pat sang together, today they are still best of friends.

  • I remember as a lovely young woman, not perticularly talented as a singer, but in this song she's much worse that I thought.

Her voice is as flat as a pancake, but what can on e expect from a vocaliste that at the time of this performance would have been barely old enough to start having serious singing lessons.

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Thanks for posting! Not only is Pat a lovely looking lady but her version of this classic 60's tune is pretty dang good! You've MADE my day! And HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you & yours! :)

  • @sittnick1 No it's not, she does an awesome job, you suck and your personality is flat all over the place.

  • Pat Carroll is awesome, this song was played in the usa also, because my parents use to listen to it either that or it was played on the radio.

  • Great song

  • She looks a bit like Elizabeth Taylor.

  • @happydragon5077 crazy i thought the same thing :)

  • @happydragon5077

Jinkies! I was thinking the VERY same thing!

    :-)

  • Este video es un verdadero regalo por lo que representa..... This is a real gifs... Thank you very much sallie6..

  • cant quite work out what wagon wheels had to do with the song

  • @hicksi61 The wagon wheels was part of the shows set, they have nothing t do with the song.

  • She has a beautiful face and a beautifu voice. And she´s the mom of Sam Farrar <33.

    It´s a nice song!

  • @Bridspey10 She's Olivia Newton-John's one of her best friends but the longest of her best friend.

  • it is really not good.

  • @dean0waterz It is awesome, you suck.

  • @CodyWestLovesOlivia Well, I'm gonna take a guess that you're at least as tuneless and hopeless as her.

Thank God there's that there's only 2 minutes of this horror - and that they managed to fade it out before the band leader did the honorable thing of shooting himself through the brains.

  • Not the Pat Carroll that I know, but she is great! =)

  • @DorisDayFanatic She is the Real Pat Carroll, who teamed up with Olivia in the 60's and married John Farrar who wrote lots of Olivia's hits in the 70's and 80's.

  • Great memories! Thanks for sharing.

  • oh my god she needs to be gonged

she is horrible and cant sing

  • and in the film clip of She's a Bop girl the bridesmaid is ...Nicole Kidman.

  • Divine song

  • Thanx for ul!

  • is this the Pat Caroll from Little Mermaid??

  • @Museleaders i was wondering that too haha i was like omg no way!

  • it sure was a fine day i was born that year, pure babette

  • shu-bee-dubie doo whop!!

  • Wasn't she married to Ross Wilson. And didn't she record 'She's a bop girl' in the 1980s. Maybe its another Pat

  • weenyone

No, a different Pat, she married John Farrar ex The Strangers, The Shadows -Marvin, Welch and Farrar, and he was the song writer for the film "Grease' and also Olivia Newton John's song writer and producer.

Pat Wilson had the hit She's A Bop Girl and did marry Ross.

  • can you believe she did the voice for Ursula in The Little Mermaid @_@ shit's awesome!!!!!

  • Actually, I looked it up cuz I was so confused about something, These are two completely different women!!!

This was filimed in like 1963, she looks young and thin, in 1965 the Carol that filmed The Little Mermaid was in Cinderella and was big and older looking!!! One is a singer and one is an actress!!!

  • i never knew that, thanks! XD

  • With all due respect, it's not the same Pat Carol

  • Wrong Pat Carroll

  • guppypants - I AGREE!.. she couldve done so much more, such a shame. She'd've been great in Jefferson!!! Maybe the Executives?

  • what became of him.always fan of his music.great admirer for his music.you are a reporter ?

just a fan thx william the netherlands

  • Very sweet. Though if I may venture an opinion on her career I'd rather she went on to front Jefferson Airplane or something, rather than the ultra-light stuff with ONJ.

  • Thank you sallie6 for bringing us so wonderful music! Gracias por aportar estas joyas musicales

  • Later teamed up as a duo with Olivia Newton John.

Married ex Stranger John Farrar who wrote hits for film "Grease"
