im trying to do a documentary about Oklahoma's 47 game winning streak. Any footage, videos, pictures will be greatly appreciated. I fill it's the greatest story in sports and needs to be told. please help if you have any ideas.
nice, #25 is Bobby Boyd....who...just for some useless info.....was good friends and went to highschool with my father Howard Hall at Garland High School in Garland Texas;)
this is soo great-my dad is a lifelong sooner fanatic-im hoping to put together a short video history of the sooners for him this year..hes not in good health and i know footage like this-will put a smile on his face..he grew up in preston ,ok with actor Will Sampson as a best friend!-SOOONERS RULE!!!
Shannon, Brewster was my Legion baseball coach and one of the Freshman coaches when I played at OU in 1965. He was always a role model to me and I always tried to play baseball and football the way he did; although he had much more talent and speed than I did. I have tried to find out how to contact, but have not had any success. The last I knew he was working in a bank in Norman. I hope he is well. Tell him Billy Hendrix said hello. I would love to talk to him. With warm regards.
Thank you for your comment. I forwarded it to my Dad. He remembered you and said you were a "real nice kid". He asked if you had an email address that he could respond to. He and I both appreciate your kind words. Thanks again! Shannon
Shannon...Thanks for a great trip down the OU Memory Lane! My late husband, Jim Lawrence, #92, was a team mate of your Dad. The pix of him, near the end, along with Steve Jennings, #90, who passed last month, mean more than you know.
Those times at OU were Golden Days...Golden Years. Believe everything WONDERFUL that your parents tell you about them.
I also enjoyed your very Special Tribute to your Mom...She was beautiful then, and she is still beautiful now.
No, this is not Mike Hobby. I am his younger sister Shannon. Mike lives in Carmel, California now. He's doing really good. I will send him your message. Thanks for commenting!!
Great post! I'm a tea-sip, but this kind of posting from a pesronal collection is what youtube is all about.

It's nice to see that OU had some black fb players. Texas didn't figure things out until the 70's.

The song playing in this clip is from the movie "Forrest Gump." I didn't mean to offend any Oklahoma fans by using an
Alabama song! I just liked the song for this particular video clip. Sorry!
