The F-5E kill-to-loss ratio versus MiG-25 was ... 2:1. One Iraqi MiG-25RB was finished off by an AIM-9J Sidewinder fired by an Iranian F-5E after it was damaged by an AIM-54A Phoenix fired by an F-14A. An Iraqi MiG-25PD, was even downed by the Pontiac M39 20mm cannons demonstrated by our Swiss friends in this video.
@scallywag86 the CF-5 freedom fighter is the canadian built version of the F-5A and the F-5B, while the Tiger is the slightly larger and more powerful F-5E/F
This is the F-5E in this video. There is a CF-5 at CFB Borden that you can get in a stuff, its pretty cool
Can`t get into the Freedom Fighter at the Canadian Warplane Heritage (As far as I`ve seen working there) but you can look into every compartment as long as there`s an engineer there
