okay to make your own town when you choose if you wanna play in the neighborhoods click on the arrow and then it says create town or something like that then you get to name it and choose how you want it to look like! then you can start building houses and shops! i tryed but it stuffed up coz im gonna make a movie im gonna redo the town to look better. then after making houses and all you make sims and place them in houses and all!

I can see the advantages of having all of your buildings on 1 lot. But wouldn't it be easier if you had The Sims 2 Apartment Life where you can make houses and apartments on the lot AND have neighbors to fill them if you don't feel like making multiple familys?

@kagssegal the better parts you have in your computer determines how you get good video.... To test this out go in your game options and go to video options there you can make you recording quality much better if your computer runs to slowly my guess you won't be able to do that.

I have an Idea for @foxiekitten25, I think it is a good Idea to make the house like that but when you are actually filming. You should make a L shaped building and make a extra wall above so that you can't see the sky because a lot of times that looks weird. Well, thanks for the ideas. I never thought of making your own street. By the way how come it has those lines in the street how did you do that?

@FoxieKitten25 I use costum content I know how oy install lots from the sims 2 website and its a 3 floor house and biggest lot rooms are storage room - a bunch of fridges a phrone room you know three fancy phrone like seats 3 main master rooms really flash and a multiy guest room with three beds or coffins if you have night life then the second floor is the meeting room wich speaks for its self and the 3rd floor wich is allthe ritual room so yeah garden is free choice

@16diandraleon you cant i have all the answer and you can do the moveobjects on cheet they just used a black florring for the road its not the road, the moveobjects on cheat is so easy to do it can make the cars go on the side, the tree in the middle of the trees and move the people too! this is how you do it

1.ctrl + shirft + c

2.type in moveobjects on exactly how i did it

3.press anter and whala!
