Thanks for checking out the video. I know that the power glide is used in many non auto applications but I am not the expert. I might suggest that you call ATI Performance in Baltimore. They build power glides from scratch and sell a case with a removable bell housing. They also make the parts to run without a tail shaft. Their number is 1-877-298-5040 Good Luck with your project.

Do you know of marine applications? I am toying with using a powerglide to power a diesel Trawler in the 80hp range cutting off the bell housing and eliminating the torque converter . Thrust loads are a concern . Perhaps removal of the tail shaft an muliple thust bearings could be used .
