If Shy FX was on the decks wearing a mask, and I was on another set of decks wearing a mask, you wouldn't know which one was which because neither of us have any input into how the music has been produced; it's just a matter of making two records play seemlessly, with perhaps a little bit of scratching, which isn't exactly rocket science either.

mate you can get the numark dj in a box pack for 230 quid from decks.co.uk, i think that kit is what he's using actually, after that you just gotta buy speakers and an amp. and as for vinyl or cd, its just personal preference really

the turntables wires are integrated so they only have one end. they both plug into the mixer. then theres one sperate cable for the amp. so basically, yes, you do have to put it together
