This bumper was designed only for Latinamerica. Ed, Edd and Eddy was a major failure there, so CN Latinamerica tried everything: promotions, prime time, adds every 5 minutes, but nothing happened, so at the very end they started to release these bumpers and .... still nothing, the character design and humor wasn't appealing to the audience.

It's more related to the humor and art design. The world is very different and every culture have different tastes and different opinions, the main problem with this show in Latinamerica is that people don't get most of the jokes, even with a quite good job with the translation the stories were considered slow paced and not funny enough.
