The point in the rock dust light star album was to go back to the old style, but if you listen to the last album "Dynamite" and compare it to the first album "Emergency on Planet Earth", there is a truly significant change in sound. Just because it doesn't sound like everything else in the charts, and because they have a unique sound, doesn't mean they haven't progressed.

There isn't really much more to ask from an artist is there? Jay Kay and Jamiroquai have been going for nearly 20 years now, and there's a reason for that. They make music that will last forever, and long may they continue to do so! :)

one best friend of mine and me buyed two tickets to see this great band show in Mijas, Malaga, Spain I think maybe 2004 - 2005... finally the show was cancelled and the ticket never refounded to me or my friend but thats ok I dont mind. the thing is that now my friend died the last year and this new sound of Jamiroquai, this new album remains my best friend rememberings those times... @HandsomeHybrid, it took a long time because they didn't have a record label, these songs have probably been ready to go for years but without a distribution deal, JK wisely kept them under wraps. This tune sounds like vintage Jamiroquai, as does White Knuckle Ride. I expect this to be the best album since Return of the Space Cowboy.
