Hopefully the police learned something. Stop shooting the tires. it will not stop a truck. Best target are the air lines if dangling down under the trailer in front of the tandems and the ones between the tractor and trailer.

Reason. The brakes lock up when the air leaks out inside of 1 minute due to the lines being shot off or full of holes. The compressor on a truck can not keep up with that fast of a air loss. The truck WILL stop!

Shooting an aluminum radiator out will cause the truck to overheat and shutdown rather quickly, those engines create a tremendous amount of heat under load. Also the engines computer controls may be set to shut off or derate engine power when running out of coolant or overheating.
