Steroids are testosterone, once you start taking it externally your brain tells your testicles to stop producing testosterone and your testes shrink. I bodybuild and I'm on steroids, I still have my ten inch wang and now raisin sized balls. You have to go through post cycle therapy to get your balls back to normal.

@unfortunatebeam Yes, Post Cycle Therapy, it gets your body producing testosterone again. You can take certain drugs to prevent testicular atrophy so your testes don't shrink, but once your body is producing testosterone again they slowly return to normal size, it can take a few months, I've heard some friends taking up to six months, mine however are back to normal within a week, everyone's different. Some people (like myself) don't NEED PCT and the body fires back up quickly. Genetics.

I wonder how well that works if you take it excessively/recklessly. hCG can be used to treat testicular atrophy by temporarily restoring a kind of artifical hormonal balance, but then that can just lead to it's own complications and doesn't really address the root cause. best just to stay clean. certainly, it's the safest. Remember steroids cause other kinds of problems too (ie, heart) so why fuck around with your body like that?
