@Maxunlimited2 Ive done it in highschool you can do it as long as the kid doesn't yell out. IF he does the ref stops for potentially dangerous and you get 4 points for potential pin fall.

@Maxunlimited2 I think its legal. Maybe they were called because they were holding them wrong. Basically just don't grab his neck, but cup his chin.

@buckmwj its illegal if you hold it for more than 5 seconds without doing anything with it.... if you just sit top then yes but if you turn your opponent then you can hold it all you need

Is this move illegal in High School Folkstyle/Scholastic wrestling?

Because I executed this move in an offseason match the other day and the coach on the other team was complaining that it was an illegal move. I have never before been told or yelled at for doing this move so idk

i never seen a bow and arrow but the other team may have thought you were doing a back breaker witch is used in freestyle and is illegal in modifed folk im not sure tho

Thanks, I got abused by my apponent my junior year in the New England Championships. Always wondered what the opponent did to me; now I know!!! Good way to rack up points on the person you are wrestling against. Keep up the good work on thes videos they are great tools!!!
