It's annoying everything I read about Josh and Zac. I miss them and obviously Paramore doesn't sound the same, but it doesn't mean that they're worst! I think that it was probably when hayley and josh broke up that put a wedge in the band. When they broke up it prob ended badly thus making the band awkward. Notice how Josh focuses on hayley on why he left...

Josh claims Hayley was a control freak, she was basically 'the band' and the others were the hired help. He says her mum +dad were very involved, and the record company viewed Paramore as Hayley and the others as lesser people. But the money was divided evenly, they all earned big money, they all appeared in the photos/interviews equally. So Paramore was five (4 before Taylor became full member). I dont know what Josh's beef is. Hayley's parents probably helped with the business side of things.
He'll never achieve success like he did with Hayley. It's obvious she's the stand-out talent of the band. Sure he had his gripes, but he should have stomached them. All the things he whined about are minor in comparison to the shitty jobs he could (and in a few years will) have. I'm not even a die-hard fan. It's just the truth.
I went to their concert on the 6th of November 2010... Looks like I saw the original (well most of) paramore just in time. But I'm glad josh put this video up to clear everything along with his blog.. :)
I think everyone knew they were manafactured. However, i didn't know there was as much focus on Hayley as I do now. It makes me laugh even more how they marketed this band with the boom in "pop rock" they decided to create Paramore. Hayley is no more than a glorified Avril Lavigne in my opinion. If the band was called Hayley william then the band would be ALL about her, but Paramore is made of 5 musicians, and they all had a role, do you think Paramore would be where it is without Josh? He wrote most of the hit songs, Hayley just sang them.
The problem is that these labels know that image sells and she didn't have any problem on going over her bandmates to obtain more reconnaisance, it's not her fault that people love her the most, ofcourse, but she could have done more.

You can replace the guitarist, the drummer, the bassist, but the voice is the only thing that can change the whole style of something. That's why she's the face. Any band, short of taking turns singing and what not, should know that when you get out there, the singer, naturally, will garnish the most attention.
Here's my opinion. I'm not taking any positions because I love Hayley and Josh and Zac all very much but I have a hard time believing everything that Josh said in his post. First, when we're upset, we tend to exagerate what has really happened. Also, Hayley has always seemed to act as though Paramore was a band and not as though it was all about her. Plus, if Hayley was such a bitch (sorry for that) than why would he have dated her? So yeah, I think it's sad they had to leave. =/
This is why I hate the music business. I believe and support what Josh has said, but I can't blame Hayley for all of this. At the end of the day, it comes down to the record label and the managers who are only in it for the money. They don't care about the bands, or the fans. All they want is a surefire mainstream success. That's why they turned Paramore into 'The Hayley Show' and it upsets me so much. Paramore gave us 6 years of amazing music, and I guess we just have to be grateful for that.

Who gives a shit... As Long as Hayley is still the one singing amazingly like she always does; it's all good. They can find a new drummer and guitarist. If they want to go talk shit about their past bandmate, then whatever. But we will never know who is telling the truth and who isn't. I still am and always be a huge Paramore fan, but if I'm being honest, it's mostly just because of Hayley Williams.
Yes, I am sad that the Farro brothers have left the band, but there are still three very talented bands members left. I will continue to support Paramore and am even excited to see what their new album brings.

I am a very very avid fan of Paramore. When I first started reading his blog I saw in blogspot... first i saw it I was really disappointed. After that I searched all the rumors, breakups and all involving paramore. I even stumbled on Hayley's scandal. It was very awful of me coz honestly I SAVED IT. After reading his blog, I emphatize with Josh. Hayley's always been the centre of attraction and it's like some self-proclaimed fans don't even know the other band members' names besides Hayley's. And it's hard, you know, to bottle up these kind of emotions and then release them out on a blog post. If you haven't even read the blog post you have NO RIGHT to judge Josh. Look at this from HIS side of the story. Josh and Zac formed the band. Hayley took over it.
Ok, number one Josh DIDN'T TRASH the band. He just wanted to us to know the reason why they left. I mean if he never told us than we'd all be using our imaginations and thinking of the worst case scenario and it would turn out to be an even BIGGER problem. After reading comments you can see who only was for Paramore because of hayley. I think everyone knew they were manafactured. However, i didn't know there was as much focus on Hayley as I do now. It makes me laugh even more how they marketed this band with the boom in "pop rock" they decided to create Paramore. Hayley is no more than a glorified Avril Lavigne in my opinion. Some good songs, I have a lot of respect for Zac and Josh.

Yes im pretty sure Josh was pretty pissed about it but i also think he knew it wasn't all Hayley's fault..if you were in a band that was all about one person would you stay in it? haha sounds like a Hannah Montana drummer and Guitarist, giving all there time just for one person

If the band was called Hayley william then the band would be ALL about her, but Paramore is made of 5 musicians, and they all had a role, do you think Paramore would be where it is without Josh? He wrote most of the hit songs, Hayley just sang them.
The problem is that these labels know that image sells and she didn't have any problem on going over her bandmates to obtain more reconnaisance, it's not her fault that people love her the most, ofcourse, but she could have done more.

Look, I read the blog, and every reason he had to leave sounded like her family and manager, and maybe just her denial that she wouldn't be able to fix the way things were.
You can replace the guitarist, the drummer, the bassist, but the voice is the only thing that can change the whole style of something. That's why she's the face. Any band, short of taking turns singing and what not, should know that when you get out there, the singer, naturally, will garnish the most attention.

Here's my opinion. I'm not taking any positions because I love Hayley and Josh and Zac all very much but I have a hard time believing everything that Josh said in his post. First, when we're upset, we tend to exagerate what has really happened. Also, Hayley has always seemed to act as though Paramore was a band and not as though it was all about her. Plus, if Hayley was such a bitch (sorry for that) than why would he have dated her? So yeah, I think it's sad they had to leave. =/

This is why I hate the music business. I believe and support what Josh has said, but I can't blame Hayley for all of this. At the end of the day, it comes down to the record label and the managers who are only in it for the money. They don't care about the bands, or the fans. All they want is a surefire mainstream success. That's why they turned Paramore into 'The Hayley Show' and it upsets me so much. Paramore gave us 6 years of amazing music, and I guess we just have to be grateful for that.

What's the actual story of why they left because I've never heard it and I'm really confused with why it happened so if someone could tell me that'd be great. Im still gonna support Paramore like I've always have they are an amazing band!! I LOVE YOU PARAMORE !! And all Paramore lovers!!!

@paramorefreak56 Heya, well if you're confused basically there is a blog that Josh and Zac posted about why they left at joshnfarro.blogspot(dot)com I assume you've seen the official announcement on the paramore(dot)net but if not you can check that out to and that should make things clearer- the blog is what this video was posted for.
I am sad that they left but it's their life and I wish the best for them, its such a shame the music industry is messed up :/

Who gives a shit... As Long as Hayley is still the one singing amazingly like she always does; it's all good. They can find a new drummer and guitarist. If they want to go talk shit about their past bandmate, then whatever. But we will never know who is telling the truth and who isn't. I still am and always be a huge Paramore fan, but if I'm being honest, it's mostly just because of Hayley Williams.

Yes, I am sad that the Farro brothers have left the band, but there are still three very talented bands members left. I will continue to support Paramore and am even excited to see what their new album brings.

I am a very very avid fan of Paramore. When I first started reading his blog I saw in blogspot... first i saw it I was really disappointed. After that I searched all the rumors, breakups and all involving paramore. I even stumbled on Hayley's scandal. It was very awful of me coz honestly I SAVED IT. But then I realized that this was only a stepping stone for Paramore, because they will always stand out as a band I loved and ever will be. HAYLEY IS THE BEST AND SO IS PARAMORE! ROCK OUT!!

But, it kind of hurts(that sounds stupid, but it's true) to hear it from him and the blog.. I'm happy that he told the truth and what had been happening all these years, but I'm angry and upset at how the blog is suddenly turning most people against Hayley.. It just doesn't seem right..

@IamsoRANDOMitsunreal Exactly. It's one thing to be upset at them leaving. And perhaps for the band letting them leave.. But when once-"fans" start saying shit about Hayley(or the rest of the band), then they weren't really *fans* to begin with and that just gets on my nerves. Real fans will support Zac and Josh just as much as they would support the rest of Paramore(as DannieYork put it) Plus it was the Farro's decision for leaving the band in the first place, not necessarily Hayley's fault.

After reading his blog, I emphatize with Josh. Hayley's always been the centre of attraction and it's like some self-proclaimed fans don't even know the other band members' names besides Hayley's. And it's hard, you know, to bottle up these kind of emotions and then release them out on a blog post. If you haven't even read the blog post you have NO RIGHT to judge Josh. Look at this from HIS side of the story. Josh and Zac formed the band. Hayley took over it.

Ok, number one Josh DIDN'T TRASH the band. He just wanted to us to know the reason why they left. I mean if he never told us than we'd all be using our imaginations and thinking of the worst case scenario and it would turn out to be an even BIGGER problem. So all you meatheads out there that think Josh thrashed the band can go fuck yourselves. He never meant to thrash the band, he's just human and wants people to here HIS side of the story and not just Hayley's ok.

After reading comments you can see who only was for Paramore because of hayley. If someone says anything bad about the only person they recognize from the band they are going to get defensive and be like "u cant do that! shes the lead singer." and all maturity or indifference to the statements completely goes out the door. What it looks like to me is a honest blog showcasing what really happened and what people refuse to believe can go on because music is supposed to be all merry, but its not.

to all the haters, Josh wasn't trashing the band. He was trashing how the band was being marketed and how the label was treating him and zac. While that I still love hayley and the band, I must say that the practices she engaged in that involved fucking the rest of the band over and FBR were pretty shitty. I wish both Josh and Zac and the remaining members of Paramore the best in whatever the future holds.

Just a tad. I feel like her lack of action had more to do with her denial of the situation, trying to fix things between them despite their obvious feelings of under appreciation.

I think the blog was a whole lot of bottled up emotion that came out in one burst. Josh felt bitterly towards the way the band had turned and everything he said in the blog is probably true, he just....did it all wrong. I think everyone in the band has been at fault throughout their years together.

"In reality, what started as natural somehow morphed into a manufactured product of a major label, riding on the coattails of “Hayley’s dream.” , thats from the blog and he is clearly implying that hayley has ruined the original band and what it stood for.
