  • @TheSpikeystuff Thank you please share it with your friends too. ;)

  • i enjoyed this vid

  • As well as looking beautiful, videos like this really help me to understand how a bird functions the way it does - all the movements co-ordinated together - the use of the tail and the wings for uplift - amazing!

  • That's awesome!

  • like a boss.

  • I love how it started coasting in, then decided it undercalculated, so it gave another flap and landed in the perfect spot!

  • what a badass bird like it knew it would be filmed :))

  • Reminds me of a javelin missile. Bounces off to a safe distance then the boosters kick in. Love watching them flutter their wings a bit, tuck them in and fall then kick in again.

  • Super sparrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOOK AT ALL THAT SHIT!

  • 0:43 cant take it nomooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-....

    :D

  • imagine a fuck sloth in slowmotion :D

  • Imma sparrow, motherfucker.

  • That sparrow is looking surprisingly badass. Probably for violating the laws of gravity every day, like an airborne Joe Pesci.

  • Sparrow: Porto 131, this is Sparrow A55. Permission to initiate landing sequence.

Porto 131: Permission granted Sparrow A55, you're clear for landing.

I Can only think of this when I see this video xD

  • Wow great !

  • 0:05 - Here I come!

    0:12 - Comin' in for a landing!

    0:17 - Touchdown!

    0:27 - Wings slowing down!

    0:38 - Waiting for departure!

0:46 - All clear for takeoff!

  • It's amazing how slowing it down makes it look so much like it's larger cousins, the eagles and hawks and larger birds of prey.

  • Birds are cool

  • So beautiful... even the most ordinary bird, doing the most mundane thing... is so charming when seen in slow motion. Wow. Great capture.

  • Fantastic,thanks for sharing.

  • flawless landing

  • When it lands, look at his head standing still...

    Awesome slow motion vid xD

  • I love sparrows. We get around 30 sparrows landing on our deck singing out for a bowl of seed everyday. We started out with 2 or 3 visiting sparrows and word caught on. I love them!

  • cute

  • OMG that's awesome

  • EPIC LANDING.

  • @abloodyfox EPIC TAKEOFF

  • @abloodyfox. EPIC TAKEOFF.

  • Passer domesticus are great study subjects. Thay are so gregarious!

  • too cool! the perfection of nature's little aviators!

  • lol, DIVE BOMB @ 0:44

  • this is real good pilots, they kinda have whole cockpit panel in their head and its amazing o.O

  • I don't like house sparrows, but you took a good video.

  • EPIC Backflip kindia stop it at 0:45. Then through the end! It is really cool.

  • @legogamer999

    Epic is an understatement

  • i can assure you all tat this was a bear and not a sparrow

  • the ending was spectacular!!

  • thats a boy sparrow, but he seems not interested in the girl on this side!

  • I like how sparrows seem to just manage a fall as much as they fly. They seem indifferent to it as a mode of transport. I notice, however, that the younger ones are both the bravest ones and the ones who demonstrate the greatest variety of flight tricks (they can hover... but you seldom see them do it and the older ones seem to do it less often).

  • 5/5 and added to faves

  • oh man,

  • Fweet!

  • I love to see the way he controls his flight.

    Great video !

  • See Dee!

  • aaaaa..... !! nice.

    what cam did u used?

  • Birds truly are masters at flying

  • @NukeTheMongoose Thanks, Cap!

    ~Lazur

  • @NukeTheMongoose well their hardly masters at walking

  • nice back jump and wing slap. Those little sparrows are like F-16s!

  • House Sparrows are the COOLEST birds in the world!!!

  • @scmcg

    I completely agree with you!!!

  • @KroegerFan44: It's sad to know that there is a big lobby in Northern America for killing House Sparrows, because they use the same nesting boxes as blue birds.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @scmcg: It's amazing the excuses people will come up with to try and validate the slaughter of thousands upon thousands of House Sparrows. Absolutely sickening....

  • look at this little beauty and his majestic landing which normally get totally lost by his realtime speed.

    very nice!

  • im gunna jump!!! :D they r so majestic

  • (continued) 0:45 im gunna jump :D

  • You should make an Ultraslo video of a humming bird :P

  • THat was AWSOME! I love the way it looks around, then just sais: stuff this, and jumps off.

  • flaps one wing first to maneuver on the way out.

  • Birds are brilliant. :)

  • He flares into the landing like a plane! And lowers the landing gear too.

  • I don't know if I've ever seen a slo-mo video this perfect. The lighting and composition are EXCELLENT, and the action in the shot is unbelievable. Just amazing.

  • #1 Are you a creationist?

#2 What exactly, if you are not a creationist is your "belief" system.

  • #3 There is no "debate" in the scientific community over evolution and further more, scientists refer to evolution as evolution not macro and micro. The whole macro vs micro only lives on because creationist liked using the idea of micro to help "apologize" for "gaps" in Noahs Ark. Apologist and Creationist chose to instead of throwing out all of evolution, because they could use a portion of it decided to attept to hammer out a distinction between the two. Evolution is evolution, deal with it

  • You wanted to know what a "real" scientist is. Look up the scientific method. People who subscribe to the scientific method are scientists. People who use science terminology and science buzz words mixed in with smoke and mirrors are called pseudoscientists, creationists, apologists, nutbag's, etc. etc.

  • One last thing, I really enjoy how you ignored me calling you out on your strawman attacks. You fit the mold of an apologist Scottishindependence, this is why I call you out as one.

  • Are you kidding me? You are a creationism apologists. Why are you not admiting to anyone reading these lame posts of yours that you are a creationism apologist? Yeah i know why. Intellectual debate? Your idea of debate so far has been to create strawman arguments and then knock them down yourself. Your a joke. God is not a default setting, get over it. You are the one that has the burden of proof. This is the reason "real" scientist do not get into debates with creationist.

  • Scientist are in pursuit of truth, creationism apologists which you are, are in the pursuit of bending reality to fit there illogical belief system, you are a waste of time. Quit sucking on Ken Hovind and study some real scientists...

  • and a sparrow caused all this arguments? xD

  • Keep preaching creationist, it is the creationists who want there to be a debate as I already said. Scientist who go on record as saying there is a "big debate" in the scientific community with regards to evolution SHOULD be fired or demoted, emperical evidence supports evolution. Most scientist, not "creation scientists" which is an oxymoron, but actual scientist who follow the scientific method no longer make the distinction between macro and micro, it is pure creationist propoganda to do so

  • Simply wanting the earth to be 6000 years old, which as a creationist you believe it to be, does not wash with any of the dating mechanisms known to man. You are a creationism apologist, I have debated enough of you guys to know this. I am sorry that someone has put all these ideas in your head. Unfortunatelly they themselves probably did not realize the damage they are causing you, as is the case with abuse sometimes. Your 14, you still have time to live a productive life. Cheers...

  • You want some evidence A. OK I will quote J. B. S. Haldane, "show me a cambrian rabbit fossil". That should shut you up...

  • Uh yeah when you actually have facts then you can speek up, just because you read some creationism propaganda does not mean you have a clue about evolution. Macroevolution which is what is resposible for variation of species most sertainly exists, your just pissed because it puts your awful belief system into question. By the way there is NO debate in the scientific community, creationist would like for there to be, but there is not...

  • sweet.!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • look at the beautiful creation of ALLAH the almighty!

  • I think you mean Jlmoto the almighty! Common typo its ok....

  • HAHA WOW u actualy worship a dead guy???

  • I think you both mean Bruce almighty!!

  • that is a "creation" of evolution, allah had nothing to do with it

  • Sweet awesome!

  • Awesome.

  • man...slow motion can even make a sparrow look like a hardass
