  • This original 'Byron era' Heep was amazing. Lawton, Goalby and now Bernie Shaw era is all fantastic, too, but somehow the Byron era is something exceptional !!

RIP David Byron - "you had to go and find your dream, and live in Paradise".

  • How friggin good was Uriah Heep?? Fantastic, one of the best ever.

  • I discovered this song yesterday! What a magnifient song!

  • beautiful :)

  • This band is awesome. Thank you youtube for being awesome!

  • I love you, those who have said that they like or love this song.

  • this is one of the greatest but unfortunalely not too well known songs of all times when ure in the right / not right mood !

  • This song still ranks either number one or two with me for all time. Depends on my mood.

Heep should have released it as a single. What the hell, if Stairway to Heaven, Won't get fooled again, and other long songs got plenty of air time Paradise would have too.

I certainly didn't need to but I was watching the lyrics here. There are three mistakes.

It's "daunted" sole, not darkened. "So no good you pretending", and "warm away", not

wear. Great job anyways! Just thought you should know.

  • @TampaBayster thx:D I'm not english, so thats why i made some mistakes;)

  • @TampaBayster Theres nothing to add on that comment!

  • Still got my original copy. Hensley was an adolescent hero!

    Nice presentation here, guy! Thx!

  • GODS AT WORK KIDS - DIG !!!

  • Man, what a great bunch of photos, and this song pair. 1972 with Demons and Wizards, 1973 The Magician's Birthday...man o man. What a band.

Miss you both, Gary and David.

  • Fabulous song, Indeed.. Rest In Peace David Byron and Gary Thain

  • heepsteria !!!

  • Sensational song/s - Heep are amazing composers.

  • Thanks a lot for this one. Such a great song, lovely lyrics and so enjoyable. Love this song from the beginning. Unforgetable !!!

  • Thanks for this man. I loved this just like it was when i first heard them. Excellant sound quality and the still pictures are top shelf. I fraken loved this. I hope you post more of Uriah Heep albums sides and songs.

  • @Augmuse thanks alot for your comment, I'll probably post more Uriah Heep in the near future.

  • @Aminaminaminam Please do, we shall be looking forward to hearing more Heep. Cheers.

  • @Augmuse Michael Tsarion is the worlds premier conspiracy researcher/lecturer/author. Dr. Bill Deagle, Leo Zagami, Jordan Maxwell and Alexandre Dumas pere are highly informative as well. p.s. Melting Euphoria is similar to Ozric Tentacles and Gong

  • songs by heep, led zep, purple, stones e.g were poetic, lyrical & philosophical, unlike today's metal or pop crap

  • After being exposed to music of such insight and profundity, i could never completely be satisfied with all that fell of the tree thereafter. I always found myself going 'back to the past', which simply meant, going back to that which had developed my mind to want more than it otherwise would. I love Led Zep, Jimi H, Janis J, amongst others, but this song is more profound that any i've heard from much of the rest.
