Your a very good rider but I would recommend you sitting up a little more, especially on a young horse that might refuse a jump. I have to sit up on my Arabian when we are jumping because she will refuse or run out and sitting up keeps you from going over their neck. Just some friendly advice :) Your horse is precious!

@SierraGal99 Thanks, this was when I was trying to figure out half seating so thats why im so far forward. She is a very honest horse, she has only refused like 3 times in her life, and two of the times just happened to be on camera. Thanks

haha you're a super dooper rider :) Try relaxing your back a bit – not slouching, just relaxing :D And scoop ice cream with your seat. I think what ma have happened is that your pony sped up a tad during the last few strides toward the jumps. :) Mine does it all the time! It looks like your pony took the last stide on a long one and therefore couldn't reach the second jump perfectly! Great, confident riding, keep it up!

@harrilurvsponies Your right, it is all my fault, I got way to ahead and in front of her. Honestly though, in this video, this was before i had a trainer, so my horse was used to me being ahead of her and she never refuses. This was a first, but yes. If i had sat back, I would have stayed on. :)

Nicee :) Just looks like your horse may be a bit confused by adjusting its stride in front of and between fences. I like to place rails in front of and after the fences (so the horses goes over the pole, lands, then jumps the fence) to get more of a rhythm so that they can learn on their own where the best spot they should take off is :) Keep up the good work!!!

haha my first reaction for some reason is GRAB MANE!!!!!! lol

I almost fell off yesterday (of course no one gets the awesome stuff on camera *pouts*) and I just grabbed his mane and managed to stay on! I have no idea how because I was on the side of the saddle, no irons and he was spooking out from under me! lol

BUT I am SO special! I fell of trying to mount! XD yeah no one caught that on camera either...

sit back a little and wait for the fence come to you, as you tipped your body forward a tad this meant there was more chance of you going over your ponys head.

really really good riding other than that, that first jump you rode nicely and the canter circles were good :) x

OOOO.....That must of hurt!!! I've fallen like that once too from a Morgan mare and also from Cheerios (the Appaloosa I lease) while we were cantering to the next jump. He got too excited and threw a big buck! :( It hurt! But that fall must have too! Cute horse though! :D
