  • any track times??nice car!

  • DEAN WILL KICK UR ASS

  • love that year !! and the flames!

  • looks like he is spraying for mosquitos....sorry had to say that, like the car, we had a 66' Caprice (same body style) for our daily driver back in the 60's.

  • your dads going to kick your ass if he sees what you did to his classic chevy!!!

  • So nice. Love the flame.

  • Next time tell him to hold it as far as it will spin xD

  • 4500 stall? Goddamn, is that still streetable?

  • @rapidtransitsystem3 My race car has a 4700 stall,3:73 rear gears, turbo 400,it drives on the street(sparingly) pretty normally, the convertor is a good one,so the car does not just flash up on it with no load. You can drive it just like any other vehicle, except for the fact that it is not just like any other vehicle.

  • love that car

  • 00:11 says it all :D nice ride man

  • first impala that's not a fucking lame ass lowrider... THIS is worth watching!!!

  • Now thats a car!

  • That cars a beauty!!! just bought me a 67 caprice, looks very alike to the impala.

  • awwwwwww yeeeeaaaa

  • is that your dad burnouts?

  • AWESOME CAR AND FLAMES ARE SWEET,

  • can I borrow your car?!!!! lol Dude that sounds awesome!

  • FUCKING... AWESOME

  • Love the ride due, but get rid off the ghost flames. They really don't do any justice to the car. Keep it all black, and its sweet ! !

  • @tdsviper makes it unique

  • @Hawkman440x iunno dude...i dont see many 66's that nice thats enough to be unique in my books lol

  • @Hawkman440x That's like saying something ugly is unique.

  • @hetisover go hate somewhere else troll

  • @Hawkman440x He's not lying lol..There are other ways of making it unique..lol But this..is not the best way XD

  • @Hawkman440x well to be honnest yes get rid of them you are ruining a pretty nice car :/

  • @Hawkman440x

yea I would not want to own a badass old school classic muscle car and have lame decals on the side...thats more for honda civs and rice burners trying to add flare to their car because they have nothing else to make it look glamours

  • Power locking n00b.

  • @sherman614 no 'n00b's here.

  • @Hawkman440x

I mean don;t get me wrong, amazing car. I'd love to have one. It's just power locking doesn't display the horsepower of a car, any car can power lock.

  • @sherman614 Car runs 12.50's... weights 4200lbs and does 1.75 60' times with a low compression small block. it will smoke the tires doing 45 down the road from a roll...anything else you wanna know lol

  • @Hawkman440x Gotta love the bench racers

  • @Hawkman440x

    owned... haha

  • id love to see a honda do that without catching on fire :0

  • im sure the neigbours were impressed

  • @2bornottoby they're used to it, they used to go to the races with us years ago lol

  • How do you raise the rear of the car up like that? I also have a '65, so the rear coil springs are throwing me for a loop.

  • @Audiolaboratory it has air shocks, they work good-and theyre affordable

  • @Hawkman440x Just a set of Gabrial "Hi-Jackers"? Thats all I do? How does it ride?

  • @Audiolaboratory Yeah, the ride height and ride quality all depends how much air you put in them, they easily fill with a regular air hose. the more air, the highed and stiffer the car willl be. the less psi...the lower and softer the car will be.

  • @Hawkman440x Thanks man. Im going to grab a set of HiJackers and do this as well. Ive been wondering how its done for a while now cause I love that stance. Thanks

  • @Audiolaboratory no problem, nother than that, the rear suspension is completely stock!

  • Comment removed

  • 1/4 mile time?

  • that sounds like it is no effort at all wow!

  • @johncarl43447 The car runs well, thanks for the comment!

  • right on papa.....papas in the house! og style

  • that mtfuccas bad power

  • There goes about 12,000 miles of tread...

  • I own a red/red '67 fastback w/Rochester tripower.Thumbs up for keepin' it old school.

  • I'm Mexican Myself and i hate when they put big ass rims or even more ruin the Impala by making it a "Lowrider"

  • LOOKS LIKE MINE FROM MANY YEARS AGO. DID DAD WARM YOUR BOTTOM LIKE YOU WARMED HIS TIRES?

  • smoke bby smoke:X:X:X love it:X

  • I want a 63 or 64 impala SS. =D

  • Now that's a nice rod...and no goofy looking wheels on it!!!!! It's nice to see an old classic that's done up properly. Those stupid Foose wheels that kids insist on using today do not look good on an old classic. Greetings from Canada!

  • sweeeeet..

  • hahaha:D thats crazy:D

  • Cool.

  • Very nice car. Sounds awesome and I love the burnout. I've always loved the 66' impalas - just before they got a little bigger (in 68', I think). It this the car you are putting the redneck converter in?? what are you replacing? I'm interested if you like your redneck as much as I like mine!! Those boys from Texas sure know how to build a converter.

  • @larscarlo no this car actually has an Art Carr 4500 stall. my 1972 Nova (in my vids) had the redneck 4500 stall converter in it. ill be taking a video this week of it, i took it down the road a couple days ago, feels real nice!

  • @larscarlo i putloaded a video of my nova (in car 15 roll) with the redneck converter...it works good...check it out!

  • perfect stance.

  • Nice burnout!

  • yes,. yes,.. yes!

  • haha fuck im jelous

  • When you snap your u-joints, rear axel, and damage your tranny. I will do the job for you half price by next week...let me know

  • Thats terrible dad

setting a bad example for your kids

    Haaaaaaaa, LOL LMAO

  • awesome

  • SWEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetz from a vintage Mustang guy over here in Europe ;o)

  • id love to have a 61, 65 or 66 we have a few 63 64 around where i live but dam!

  • now there's a real mans car! F all the rice burners!

  • Whoa, this car is straight up nasty...

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @CrazyTacky appreciate it

  • I thought it was a 283 haha, jk. More than good!

  • Hey Hawkman, don't let those other detractors BS you--this is a beautiful car and set up great! We had a 66 Impala in our family when I was real young and now own a 03 Impala...ok it's not the same thing but hey if a 66 came my way I'd grab it in a NY minute!

  • lol thanks alot man. when you say NY minute...do you mean an UPSTATE NY minute?!? haha

  • amagash its a monster :D I Love him :D can i drive ? :<

  • damn this baby is beautiful!

  • nice car. unlike these other guys i think it sits great. and sounds damn good

  • thanks i appreciate it

  • WTF??? 0.10 xD gay or gay?

  • you are gay you fucking gay... die your loser xD........ jävla nolla för helvette dra å dö din jävla fitta

  • is is talking about the awkward giggle

  • well he needs to get a life becuase it was actually the beginning of an akward sneeze...people are idiots

  • Your dads one lucky guy to have a kick ass Impala like that. She's in good shape too what kind of restoration did he have to do?

  • hes owned it since he was 14...hes 48 now...so hes owned it for 34 years. hes done all the work to the car himself since he was 14...its all steel, hes painted the car 4 times since hes owned it...this recent paint job you see here is now about 8 years old...otherwise its never been off the frame or fully restored...its got the stock floors/trunk/quaters/hood/doors/fenders

  • |Sweet |!!|!

  • Great burnout,by the way the Blazer won't do a great burnout,it just hooks up too quick.Have a Wheelie good day

  • thanks alot...wheres my info on your blazer now? haha

  • Maybe channel comments,I will have to re-do it If it's not there,Doh

  • It went straight to page comments,I think, bottom right ,let me know?

  • What kind of rear suspension do you have? It really sits up high. Are those air shocks or do you have spacers in your coil springs?

  • the cars got stock suspension, the read actually has air shocks haha sits kinda high, ive been trying to tell him to do somthing with it to get it a little lower, but the setup works real well...we've had best of 1.69 60' times the the car.

  • Old cars like that need to have the rear sticking up with the some big tires comin out the sides. How my 74 Chevelle is.

  • 66 impalas are the coolest

  • Hawkman do you know how many post you have made on this one video? You could have written a novel almost!! You have posted at least 50 ! Thats truly weird!

I think you are obsessed take a kill pill o.k.?

  • you do realize its his video right?.......

  • dude i love ur car

  • nice car man. personally big fan of the impala's. got any other cars as well?

  • wow sick car you must have a line lock?

  • actually no, just have the rear brakes adjusted where they still grab, just very little.

  • nice kenney, way to screw up the pavement with all that rubber

  • i honestly can not believe this video has 114k+ view. AWESOME

  • your dad will scold you

  • sick burnout, nice muscle car

  • BAD MOTHER .....NICE WHEELS

  • thanks haha wheels are like 40 year old Fentons (forged aluminum, very light weight) pretty much like centerlines, just lighter

  • Thanks for keeping it real! I HATE it when people put those goofy looking "foose" rims on a classic! This is the way it was meant to be...

Don't let that little dork by the name of hondafucker get to you.... he's just a little kid who thinks he's a big tough guy behind the keyboard. Probably the only thing he has ever driven and rode is his bicycle and his sister! LMFAO!!! I love it when guys like us put little inbred shits in their place... they think that Fast n Furious is da bomb! WRONG!!

  • @janosleng73 /watch?v=6koV5SJMWBA, look at this shit -.- i bet you'll cry

  • what size tires you got on that badass?

  • rears are P275/60/r15

    front are P205/70/r15

im not 100% sure on the fronts but i believe thats the size of em, but i do know for sure thats the rear size.

  • I just love your imp, brother!!! long live the full sizes!!!

I am a fucking nutcase for those B body chevys. all of em. 55 to 96....

  • im just saying. dont talk shit bout other peoples shit. i no that civic cant burn the tires like your dad impala but hey he tried.lol

and i dont give hondas a bad name. i have a very repuable honda at my track back home.

  • i wasnt talking shit, i was just pretty much saying 'be careful of your axles, cause they'll break'...cause ive snapped stock honda axles before...theyre not very strong...just putting in my 2 cents is all so that doesnt happen to other people

  • lemon

  • you would say that wouldn't you....would you like to be a douch and leave retarded comments on my other videos? hmm maybe like my 07 R1 is a PILE? or my 72 nova is a POS. anything i own will waste your Honda. i dont mind hondas at all, i have a 92 LS w/ a b18b..but its fuckin idiots like you that give hondas a bad rep. just drop it while your ahead

  • how much horsepower

  • maybe 400-425 at the flywheel. its just got a good combination

  • At the flywheel?

How would you measure hp at the flywheel and why? How much hp does the MOTOR have?

  • yes at the flywheel..its how you measure hp/tq on an engine dyno, SO THE MOTOR HAS MAYBE 400-425 AT THE FLYWHEEL, NOT THE REAR WHEELS.

  • "at the flywheel" means what the motor puts out by itself, before the transmission and rearend. "at the wheels" means what the car puts to the ground after losing some power via the drivetrain. you lose about 10-20% of the horsepower that the engine puts out to the trans and rear axle. you measure HP at the flywheel on an engine dyno (engine by itself), verses a chassis dyno (engine in car, on rollers)

it's call HOT ROD magazine. pick one up sometime.

  • I'd sooner pick up you sister!

  • Comment removed

  • Hey fuck knob...you're the one that finished your reply with a msart ass comment.

"it's call HOT ROD magazine. pick one up sometime"

Now I will fcuk your sister!

  • lol easy guys, to settle this- the easiest way to explain it, the engine it's self makes an estimated 425 horsepower, 'richard'-you are right, the power from the engine to the rear wheels is about a 15% loss give or take, DEPENDING on your amount of HP your already making at the crank. SO... if you figure the power loss from engine crankshaft to the rear tires....

    425 (engine hp) x 15% (loss)=63.75 Total Loss

    425 (hp) - 63.75 (hp lost from engine to tires) = 361.25

    TOTAL HP TO TIRES= 361.25

  • tee hee.. thanx bro!! again love for yer chevy

  • awesome. lemme know when so I can watch her fireman husband beat your faggot ass to a twitchy pulp.
