The planes only "blew off" the fireproofing on a small amount of steel on one corner of the building on three or four floors. The rest of the steel in the building, more than 90% of the steel in fact, was left intact with all the fireproofing on it. And a little bit of weakened steel on the 95th floor is not enough to let gravity do it's work as he purports.

@josevanreyes That's a fair cop, and a little annoyance of mine as well. Technically, free-fall occurs at constant acceleration (to a decent approximation), not constant speed. However, as the popular term is 'free-fall speed', it's often easier to use that, even though it isn't technically correct. Like how the "Ground Zero Mosque" is neither at Ground Zero, nor a mosque, but everyone still calls it that. If that's your only problem though, that's not much of a case against the guy's video.

you can measure some 1000 ft fall in 11 secs. We can watch the top tilt over 20 degrees and pulverize itself in mid air. We can watch 8 floors per second loose over 1/3 of its mass as the concrete is reduced to little rocks. We know each floor weighed over 4000 tons. 8x4000=32,000 tons per second. which is loosing its mass rapidly. And no concrete pancakes. only batter. Good luck crunching some simple numbers.

On Earth, that rate is 32 feet/second(squard). That means that, until an object reaches its terminal velocity, it will continue to increase in speed by 32 feet per second every second. Of course, the effect of gravity is only apparant if that object is truely in free fall.
@CaitiffFTW Also, your assertion of 1,000 feet is inaccurate. At the roof, Tower 1 was measured at 1,368 ft, and Tower 2 at 1,362 ft. But, even granting that, the actual freefall speed, barring any wind resistance, from 1,000 is about 14.3 seconds, not 11, as you've claimed. That measurement, of course, is assuming a still start, which is what would have happened with a freefall of the top of one of the Towers.

If you view the video yourself (hard evidence) and measure the collapse times from the begging of the movement down to the 29th floor where it enncounters resistance. The building fell over 100 feet in 4.969 seconds; definitely free fall. As you said it is possible for controlled demolitions to not freefall however thisis impossible fora naturalcollapse.

No truther denies this, in fact if you investigate the speeds of the debris, and the distance away from the towers that specific pieces traveled, you will find that they have traveled further than can by natural collapse and fire.
While the rest of the energy would have gone into the steel, and assuming it could push it past the flash point of the surrounding materials, would have started a fire.
Also, in the below equation, I didn't take into account the energy needed for the change of state of the steel. I am not familiar with that value, If someone could fill me in that would be great. Although, it isn't necessary for the change of state to have occurred as the unmelted steel would steel be hot enough to start a fire

Assuming it broke through the roof and several floors, the amount of energy transferred to each floor would be equal to the load capacity pressure for the roof and the floors, plus air resistance, plus an equation that would take into account the elasticity of the final floor.
All of this energy would undermine the structural integrity of the building.
So, the amount of energy the steel had on impact was 3000m (m= mass) So that is equal to the specific heat of steel, times the mass of the steel, times the temperature change. so 3000m=0.49mT. The mass cancels out, as it should, if you think about it, this is about energy per mass, not total mass.
So the energy transferred to the object assuming instantaneous deceleration would be enough to heat the steel 6122 degrees. This is well above its melting point.

Lets see, a piece of steel from near the top of the building would have about 3000 times mass joules of energy upon impact with building 7. it was the roofline that was used to make the measurement in: watch?v=v3mudruFzNw and, as NIST finally conceded' it fell, for the first 100', at freefall acceleration. This can only mean one thing: the supports (24 core and 58 perimeter columns) were removed. That it fell with such symmetry shows they were removed nearly simultaneously.

At 4:34 he says the planes "blew off all the fireproofing" but that's not true. The planes only "blew off" the fireproofing on a small amount of steel on one corner of the building on three or four floors. The rest of the steel in the building, more than 90% of the steel in fact, was left intact with all the fireproofing on it. And a little bit of weakened steel on the 95th floor is not enough to let gravity do it's work as he purports.

The thermate mixture could be mounted against the beams with ceramic mountings. You are right that it would probably be really hard to do, and is certainly not probable. The more important argument comes in what I've heard about the fighters doing drills at that time and of the incentive. I haven't heard much about the actual hijackers. There is no reason nonarabs could not have flown the plane, and that is the most likely conspiracy you should have addressed.

@josevanreyes That's a fair cop, and a little annoyance of mine as well. Technically, free-fall occurs at constant acceleration (to a decent approximation), not constant speed. However, as the popular term is 'free-fall speed', it's often easier to use that, even though it isn't technically correct. Like how the "Ground Zero Mosque" is neither at Ground Zero, nor a mosque, but everyone still calls it that. If that's your only problem though, that's not much of a case against the guy's video.

Look you can just watch the video and see steel beams shooting out laterally, concrete turning into dust, if the building "pancaked or sagged" there would be 20, 10, 5, floors at the bottom yet there are none. The fireman said they needed 2 hand lines to put out the fire and people were in the impact zone waving. you can measure some 1000 ft fall in 11 secs. We can watch the top tilt over 20 degrees and pulverize itself in mid air. We can watch 8 floors per second loose over 1/3 of its mass as the concrete is reduced to little rocks. We know each floor weighed over 4000 tons. 8x4000=32,000 tons per second. which is loosing its mass rapidly. And no concrete pancakes. only batter. Good luck crunching some simple numbers.

@IExposeMormonism And, not a word of what you said has any effect on how gravity words. Gravity is a constant, and pulls a smaller object towards a larger object and a constant, measureable rate. On Earth, that rate is 32 feet/second(squard). That means that, until an object reaches its terminal velocity, it will continue to increase in speed by 32 feet per second every second. Of course, the effect of gravity is only apparant if that object is truely in free fall.

@CaitiffFTW Also, your assertion of 1,000 feet is inaccurate. At the roof, Tower 1 was measured at 1,368 ft, and Tower 2 at 1,362 ft. But, even granting that, the actual freefall speed, barring any wind resistance, from 1,000 is about 14.3 seconds, not 11, as you've claimed. That measurement, of course, is assuming a still start, which is what would have happened with a freefall of the top of one of the Towers.

The WTC collapses at 8-10 floors per second. 4000 tons every 1/8 of a second. 110 acres, 500,000 tons. not a pancake on the ground, no computer, desk, etc. But human remains 250 yds away on building tops

Jacob you are about as bright as a brick. The fact that the towers fell completely while turning into clouds of dust tells us all more was going on than a gravitational collapse. Free fall speed is an irrelevancy: the rapid fall of the towers whether it is 10, 12, 15, 18 or 20 seconds while pulverizing their contents into a fine powder takes far more force than a gravitational collapse could provide. @JacobSpinney I would like to say that the two most interesting videos 12/13 are down? You say that B7 did not freefall and it took 14 seconds. If you view the video yourself (hard evidence) and measure the collapse times from the begging of the movement down to the 29th floor where it enncounters resistance. The building fell over 100 feet in 4.969 seconds; definitely free fall. As you said it is possible for controlled demolitions to not freefall however thisis impossible fora naturalcollapse.

While the rest of the energy would have gone into the steel, and assuming it could push it past the flash point of the surrounding materials, would have started a fire.
Also, in the below equation, I didn't take into account the energy needed for the change of state of the steel. I am not familiar with that value, If someone could fill me in that would be great. Although, it isn't necessary for the change of state to have occurred as the unmelted steel would steel be hot enough to start a fire

However, not all the energy would be transferred to the steel, much would have been transferred to the building. Assuming it broke through the roof and several floors, the amount of energy transferred to each floor would be equal to the load capacity pressure for the roof and the floors, plus air resistance, plus an equation that would take into account the elasticity of the final floor.
All of this energy would undermine the structural integrity of the building.

So, the amount of energy the steel had on impact was 3000m (m= mass) So that is equal to the specific heat of steel, times the mass of the steel, times the temperature change. so 3000m=0.49mT. The mass cancels out, as it should, if you think about it, this is about energy per mass, not total mass.
So the energy transferred to the object assuming instantaneous deceleration would be enough to heat the steel 6122 degrees. This is well above its melting point.

Good video. You know, I was always hung up on building 7. I guess I never thought about how close it was to the actual collapse.
Lets see, a piece of steel from near the top of the building would have about 3000 times mass joules of energy upon impact with building 7. This would have, should the debris have been stopped almost instantly instead of being cushioned by the building, caused the energy to be transferred to the metal, possibly raising it past the flash point of most materials.

How could a fire in one of the top floors destroy the supporting steel core of the building all the way down to the bottom with such speed? Remember its designed to hold the weight of the top half of the building... the core was destroyed from the top all the way to the bottom... but there was only a fire on the top floor. think about it... its logic... good luck
