That is impressive, Steven Seagal's Aikido is very practical. My old Sensei in Aikido was a student of O Sensei's top student, Saito Sensei. I now do Ninjutsu though. Mainly because Aikido takes quite a while to learn. So i opted for something simpler.

Did he really say that? Mine has been teaching Aikido longer than Seagal has even been into Aikido, I shit you not(he's in his mid to late seventies) and he doesn't even say stuff like that. Aikido must have taught you to focus. When people tell me of some art that is more effective than Aikido I just think then that is the art I want to train against to improve my Aikido.
