That totally reminds me, my friend and I were with my boyfriend and we were looking for tampons (I don't remember what we were doing that day, but he was the one with a vehicle) but her and I couldn't find them, then all of a sudden we hear him down at the other end of the isle "I FOUND THE TAMPONS!" and we look at him to see him standing in the middle of the isle pointing at them.
@pello female animals undergo through estrous cycle similar to menstruation but its not blood rather its something white for example a female dog has estrous cycle once in every six months.
menstruation happens only in monkeys, humans and apes females of course.
Finally, a man that makes sense about this. My husband has no problem going to the store and buying tampons, like he says.............it's not for him, and it's not as bad as buying condoms from a 16 yr old girl at the register
Thank god some men have this attitude towards menstruation. My dad refuses to buy pads and tampons for me and my mom. If we're completely out and we're cramping, too bad. One of us has to go out and buy some. It's just stupid. I've never seen a man buying menstrual products and thought "Ew, I wonder what he's gonna do with THOSE!". I think "how sweet, he's buying those for his wife/girlfriend/daughter." I hope when I find my next boyfriend, he will respect that and man up and buy them for me.
Yea! I'm glad you're mature about menstruation. Sad that that's so rare.
I like to tease the guys I know who act freaked out by periods with my "rule": If you can't handle what comes out of it, you're not allowed to put anything IN it. That usually shuts them up :-P
aww..how sweet...i think i'm gonna cry...and then eat some more chocolate. ...then get viciously angry for no aparent reason...then eat more chocolate.
Ive had 2 periods and 2 PGN HPT's but I still think Im pregnant... I'm terribly skinny but they last 2 months Ive been getting big [Ive gone up 1 jean size and they are tight again..] I would be 15 weeks.. and ive got nearly every symptom just not missed period or PGP...
You seem like such an awesome guy to know. Its really great to hear that there are guys like you out there who really don't get skeeved out by periods. I wish my guy friends were as knowledgeable as you...though they are getting better. lol.
PS-- some women can have a period when they are pregnant. Its rare, but not impossible. I'd say it happens to maybe one out of every 50 women or so. Maybe more. Its a genetic thing. My aunt Sue did.
Bleed for a week and not die?? Hahaha. I heard that joke before. Never really made sense to me though. We sooooo don't bleed enough to die. Heck, you lose WAY more blood during a blood drive donation. Women who use menstrual cups can actually measure their exact flow. Turns out most of us only lose about half a measuring cup or less, during the entire week, lol.
Guys aren't scared to buy tampons they just can't be fucked. Plus the girlfriend is 'embarassed' to tell you the ones she uses. She would rather do it herself.
women cannot menstrate while they are pregnant! the whole point of the uteral lining is to support the baby through pregnacy. if women never used it their would be no point to a period in the first place!
I don't understand why people are giving this a poor rating, it's true. A woman's period is nothing more than the shedding of the uterine blood lining when an egg remains unfertilized. If the egg is fertilized, it attaches to the uterine wall and the blood lining is necessary to support the embryo, therefore, there is no shedding. This means there's no period. If a pregnant woman has her period, it most likely means she miscarried.
Not always. Sometimes a woman can have a perfectly healthy baby and still have her period. Sometimes this makes the pregancy more difficult to detect in the early stages. However, the mother doesn't bleed as much or for as long or often. Sometimes even ever 2- 4 months. It happens to some women, can't remember the technical definition for it though.

I'm proud to buy feminine hygiene products for my wife because it is like shouting "Hey world, I've got a woman. If you asked me about her, I'd tell you she is a size 1, an atheist, and looks like a model. Did I stress that she is thin? I mean, you can play piano on her ribs. She's perfect." Feminine products are one of many "maintenance fees" for the woman. If you own a Ferrari, you gotta keep it sweet.

You're sick man. Women don't have to be a size one to be perfect, that's being anorexic. If that's how you respect your wife I'm surprised she didn't kick your ass out of the house.
1.) The wife would be perfect even if she were a size 2, as long as it's proportional to her frame.
2.) A size 1 is quite normal for her ethnicity
3.) Her body fat percentage does not meet the medical definition of anorexia nor does her behavior.
4.) I am regularly tested by mental health professionals and they have found nothing listed in the DSM (Diagnostic & Statistical Manual)...so I'm not psychologically sick.
As a woman, I love you for the fact that you're not scared of the "EVIL PERIOD", and that you can walk into a store with your head held high and buy tampons and not bat an eye.
As a cashier, I love you for the fact that you're not a spineless retard about asking where the "um...uh..girls' maxi napkins" (as one customer put it) are.
well i can understand why a man would freak out about it...its just plain awkward no matter what anyone says...girls have years and years to get over having it...guys dont ever experience it so its harder for them to just say whatever like girls do...we're all just like w/e i got my period who cares...guys are like...well what am i supposed to do now...
no period, no life. guys need to realize if their moms and their wives/girlfriends don't have periods they don't have babies. no babies, no population. periods are needed. so why freak out about buying pads/tampons. its life. get over it. guys like everything else involved in puberty, hips, thighs, ass, breasts. come on not a biggie. but nice vid though!
Well, 75% of women who experience light monthly bleeding during pregnancy will have no problem. There is still reason to get checked out, of course, but there is no reason to panic.
Kudos to you!! You rock! My husband will buy me pads and tampons if I need him to, but it's a rare ocassion that I ask, as I'd rather buy them myself. Periods are no big deal. They're part of every womans life and I don't understand why most guys tend to freak out about them. Great vid! Thanks for posting your opinion!
