I'm a 38 year old male, and obviously never played with MLP. But, I remember hearing this commercial and song when watching after school cartoons in the 1980s. Life was great back then. My grandparents and Dad were alive and healthy, things were going well. Thank you for uploading this, as the song itself brings back great memories of my happy teenage years.
@CelesteK I honestly don't mind them feeding little ponies with bottles, and putting them in cribs, but did they really have to go as far as to put the ponies in diapers?
@SweetSanctuarii Well that's the way that it was back then. There was no such thing as censorship whenever something didn't seem right. But I do get what you're saying. The diapers were a little bit much. I think that for a toy who's dynamic was little girls. :(
i just found out what the pony i had since i was 4 was called its baby moondancer i didnt even know it was official its hard to believe its like 26 years old i got it in 94 so it was already 10 yrs old lol i still have it btw its a miracle i want to clean it though its hair is frizzy and the last hairs on its mane look longer than theyre supposed to
I had them, too! I was obsessed with My Little Pony when I was little. I started collecting them when I was 5 or 6 and stopped when I was 11, so I had quite a wide variety: Baby Ponies, Flutter Ponies, Twice as Fancy Ponies, Big Brother Ponies, Sea Ponies, plus all the regular early ones. I must have had 40 or 50 total.
They weren't out yet when I was a baby. The first ones were released in 1983, so I must have been in kindergarten or first grade. Prime age for pony-collecting! I stopped buying them in sixth grade, though that was more due to peer pressure than anything else.
aww i want baby moondancer
*says in applebloom style* BUT I WANT IT NOW!

As much as I love Friendship is magic, I love the old vintage ponies, and the baby ponies are just adorable.

I found it strange that there were baby ponies...but no mama and papa ponies.

I'll probably bet Twilight Sparkle would have a LOT to write to Princess Celestia about if she saw _this_.
