i did the same thing with my '05 S. it sounds sooooo much better lol a few people have actually been impressed lol now only if there were such thing as a muffler that made a 4 cyl sound good :-p

i took that tube out too.. Sounds way better without it... Nice sounding starter by the way!

yes the snorkel tube was the silencer thing that make the intake quiet, when i removed it the intake sounded more better

lol! he took the tube out that is connected to the airbox! that made it sound like a short ram conversion.. very smart.. i think it does help a little with the throttle response too..:)

i did somthing leik that to my gf car. 01 corolla, just opened the intake box the filter is still in place and basicly has an opening pretty much liek a short ram, major sound and responce diffrnce lol sounds nice so stock everything

the starter was like $160 without core charge and it took us at least an hour to install since we had to remove some components blocking it
