Merci AV

  • Magnificent - what an exquisite voice!

  • I had the Faust he recorded back in the 1970's. The best Faust I've ever heard!

  • Aragall sang it splendidly. Bravo Jaime! My favorite Romeo ever!

  • I could not agree more with Imspr, this is the best recording of this opera I have ever heard, I love this CD. Even the best mezzos don't make it for me in this opera. Pitting two great tenors against each other was brilliant and the control of Abbado shows.

  • This is how a lyric tenor should sound. The most beautiful tenor voice ever. Bravo Giacomo.

  • I think this is from the same CD I have: the Capuletti e I Montecchi with Rinaldi and Pavarotti from 1966. The beauty of his voice makes me listen to this over and over again.

    Gracias por el video.

  • Adding to my orginial comment: I originally got this recording to listen to Pavarotti, but ended up falling in love more with Aragall's voice. Too bad there are so few recordings of Aragall in his absolute prime.

  • I could not agree with you more. I did exactly the same thing!!!
