  • it sounds like two giant dinosaurs making love...beautiful (for anyone who's going to get but hurt over my comment that was a joke not an insult :D)

And it is beautiful. Watch the Land Before Time (fan fiction/art)

  • its like, like a thousand angels, its beautiful, its salvation being created, :*( beautiful...

  • We sang this song last year and it was everybody's favorite.

  • i was a seccond bass and student conductor for this song in school 12 years ago, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

  • Sounds better in russian :D

  • Sounds so beautiful, yet leaves you with that haunting feeling inside after you listen to it.

  • wow... this is gorgeous! Our choir is singing this this year, but our tenors are FLAT. Oh well.. This is absolutely mesmerizing.

  • @skossak1 At our college, an esteemed professor recently passed away and our band played this at his on campus funeral.

It was nothing short of amazing.

  • where can i download the song i cant find it on limewire

  • This is what I want played at my funeral. Enough said.

  • This is... amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. Great job, Basilica Choir.

  • My band uses this as the onfield warmup

  • My band, the wakeland high school band, is putting this song in there show next year, though i wont say more about it ;p

  • It's beautiful. We played this in band and I was the piccolo, and later someone asked me to sing my part. The notes were very high and hard to hit, but I somehow managed. I will never sound this good, though.

  • you can get this on limewire but its not this slow. its the same choir or at least it sounds the same.

  • @yomega69 Not the same choir. Not even the same recording!

  • IMO, I like it slower. :)

  • They sure did sloe this down... sounds good.... but ProCoro Canada does a better job with the correct tempo... check them out in youtube

  • @karlherbold There is no such thing as a "correct" tempo. It's all about conductor expression and the way they hear it.

  • My band played this at states! Got straight sups

  • dude they slow this down?

  • I sang this piece for a Men's Choir about 8 years ago. It is so awesome and powerful.

  • man i wish i could find a really really good version of this. i wouldnt mind paying for it

  • i love the horn part to this song. i'm learning it. i play flute.

  • we are singing this same song in russian like the music is the same but the lyrics are in russian

  • At Manhasset High School We Have an All Men's Version of This.

  • In our marching band, we play it every friday night after the game.

it's been a tradition for a long time.

  • my band and another band play it together on the feild :)

  • @EiccaToppinen90 what school?

  • Stunning

  • beautiful

a little slow but still sounds great

  • how much it can make out of piece, by singing it a little bit slower. amazing ;)

  • Gorgeous sound, gorgeous performance. That being said, I think that any audience member who makes the slightest noise during this piece should be shot in the face.

  • agreed.

  • Makes you wish you were there, huh? Such a beautiful rendition. Wonderful strong alto. If this doesn't snatch it out of you, you're dead. Thanks for posting!

  • OMG!!! chills!!!

  • I love this song. We played it TWICE in high school (clarinet, here!!), and it was very well-received both times. One of my favorites to play, and I would LOVE to find the lyrics so that I could sing it too.

  • tis song reminds me of 9/11

  • This is without a doubt the nicest version I have heard, minus the fact that it's not sung in the original Russian. The voices are SOOOO smooth and light when they enter as if it was only one person singing and then crescendo as if it were 100. Beautiful.

  • we are singing this song in chorus.

    its beautiful!

  • This song gives me chills every time I hear it. Beautiful!

  • Bass part's the best

  • @ejasta37 i agree i play tuba and baritone
