  • well i would create more creative film for this creative sound - i mean i`ve listen more than i watch...But the sound is really good - guitar sound is novative as well as classical - greate style - i`m using similar in my albums as well sometimes...

  • Nice picking mate. If you ever put a lyric to it I would like to hear it. Very soulful.

  • composerdoh-thanks for taking time out to watch and respond- think your right-i'd usually leave it suspended- think it was being conscious of filming myself that led to a "cut!" type finnish.i like the way your comment is "suspended ambiguously"!!

  • Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this.

The idea you get to at about a minute is really lovely.

Then the new idea at about 3 min is really interesting as well.

I'm not sure they;re derived from each other with just this listening. I'm not sure you have an architecture in mind either-I must say, I really liked that you were leaving it suspended ambiguously at 4:15ish!!!! (then you ruined it by resolving at 4:22 ;-P)

Very nice work. 5 *s. Personally, if it were me, I'd take this

  • Hi Dave. Have at long last got round to listening to your music. I really like this instumental, don't think it needs anything with it...definately not a saxophone. HAve also uploaded Smallchange tracks. Look under pigswilldance. Cheers Yvonne

  • It's good david. Makes me think of laurel canyon scene in the late 60's crosby, joni mitchell, steve stills thing. crosby in particular. keep working on it mate.

  • thank you andrecornal-thought provoking words

mymusicdiscovey-you got something -every time i play it now think of a journey home!!

  • thanks for the email; i think of this piece as something country-like... it gives me a sense of openess, like a wheat field, or something like that.. the coda goes back and forth, and even though it's memorizing, it's not tiring...it's kinda windam hill, though, somewhat new agy, a little crowd pleaser also, but feels honest.. thanks for posting

    "I Feel Like I'm Home"?

  • nice work, man! I like it!

  • This music needs no text! It stands for itself!

    Brilliant!

  • I am reminded of Michael Hedges, especially at :27 and 3:00 . Nice work! It's compelling as an instrumental even without vocals.

  • hello, Stan !!

pas mal, en effet ... "very nice stuff !!"

    bonne continuation ...

  • Hello, good, heart felt tune. i keep my old Yamaha classical tuned in open e!

  • hey Stan.. really nice piece of music.. did anyone ever tell you you look a little like Carlos Santana.. beautiful piece i liked it a lot.. call it the piece with no name..

  • glad u send me this.

its very good, try not to mess the instrumental with the lyrics.

awesome, please contact me when u finish it.

    thumbs up ! xx

  • thank you schroeder696- such kind words.

thanks Bruna-wish i could speak Italian!!

  • I like your music very much!

  • Absolutely magnificent! Such a range of emotion rarely heard in music these days. I love it. My two cents, lyrics aren't necessary. Beautiful. This piece quite simply speaks for itself.

    stan

  • I saw your link in my inbox, and I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first. But you really surprised me! This is wonderful, and I can only agree with the others that the music says so much on its own, without any words.

If you decide to write some lyrics, may I suggest somehting on the themes of nostalgia/yearning for home?

In a way it reminds me of Pat Metheny's "Last Train Home", be it within a pop/rock style. Good stuff! You are really musical.

    Sincerely,

    Olle Abrahamsson

    composer

  • wow i'm staggered!! thank you PADSensemble and lieffeurd- wonderful comments.

  • Beautiful music, well played and composed. The piece clearly works without words, but if you have already some ideas about the lyrics, it would be nice to see how words could change the delicate equilibrium you created on your guitar. And what about enlarging the instrumentation? Bravo!

  • beautiful

  • thanks frosty(a friend at last!!!!)

girraffemangaz- no doubts it would sound better with your piano

facevampire thanks for your kind words and taking the time to check it out.

  • i agree. no lyrics needed at all, this works perfectly as an instrumental. very relaxing piece, great job.

  • Hi Dave, Sounds great, no lyrics needed. Maybe a bit of piano. Hint, Hint..

  • Very nice, its the sort of music you can just listen to. I like that. I dont often go for music with singing involevd (there are exceptions), i like it to be instrumental, so I'd be happy to listen with out lyrics. Very nicely composed.

  • aphato-i was thinking changing world too!!! maybe time going backwards correcting mistakes that sort of thing.cheers.

  • thanks ctimur- yes the guitar is tuned to open e. thank you for you kind words blujufirst.

Curetiamhices-wow-interesting comments thank you so much.

  • such a nice melody!! keep it up!! i can already imagine the lyric in my mine.. abit of spoken words about the changing world and the hustle and bustle of city life... cool

  • This is what I like to call Organic! music like this, communicates easily to any spirit. Thank you very much for sharing your art. in my humble opinion, It needs NO lyrics.

If you feel that it needs something more, how about a good instrumentation?! this piece is full of natural colors.

    Great Job!!

  • I like it my friend, you should be very pleased

    with it.

  • Sounds nice. Haven't checked it though, but is the guitar tuned different than usual?

  • thanks Copernicussun- appreciate you taking time out to watch it.

  • Look forward to the lyrics to suit the mood. I like it - atmospheric melodic -
