@bassguitarFTW68 On what model? Most knives use TORX screws, if there is threadlocker then heat it up with a heat gun or hair dryer to break the seal. Cheap models don't normally have it on anything.
@goer99 No a stiletto is a blade style and you can have bayonets that are stilettos, but some Americans refer to OTF models as stilettos, but it is inaccurate if the blade is not a stiletto, another term is Angel blade.
tip of the day, Dont forget one of those in your jacket-poket, i can tell u that the airport security guy didnt like me at all after that. an hour in a interigationbox wasnt too much fun, I liked that blade a lot.
i have this knife, but just with a diffrent handle, only 50 bux cause they dont sell switchblades down here in sydney. very very good knife, very effective and fun to play with :D
Iv been looking at a few switchblades I just recently moved to Arizona were apperanly they are compleatly legal (fuck Cali) I was trying to figure out what brand to buy I already know what style I want I just don't know what brand is better iv been told FB is the lowest quality but I just want 1 that won't turn into a piece of crap after about 6 months any1 know a good brand
I disagree with that Frank Beltrame makes good stuff, I think better than Armando and Renzo. It all depends on what model you are after. You buy cheap shit you get cheap shit.
i have a knife simaliar to this one it has the same design, it's just not a stiletto style. i had heard somone say there was a secret button or switch on it. do you know if there is?
I have this one also (MTech version) the liner lock on mine is surprisingly strong and thick and locks up solid to center tang..which is good, maybe i just got lucky ;)
..certainly not a bad knife, but doesn't really compare to having an aus8 ti-lite blade either ..even though in a sense is a 'poorman's ti-lite'..and it has aluminum scales which cost more to get on the ti-lite, go figure :)
hey i own this knife, its pretty cool looking. its an Mtech brand knife, knock off of the cold steel ti-lite. like really close clone. i bought it for like 6 bucks or so at a gunshow. only problem is the linerlock is weak as fuck and when u open and close it a few times it gets VERY loose. its the cheap metal that wears down on normal use. but as i said, it looks cool.
Hey man, I bought this knife from a store today. Recognized it from your site and picked it up. Wicked blade. I was wondering how can I loosen the pivot pin? The screw is wierd, it has these 5 or 6 small holes around the center one you know. I'd apreciate if you can help me. P.S. I ordered the 9" frank beltrame "comb". You're the king man ;)
um wats the name of the knife that u swing around to open and close it ( in the movie punisher he took it of the guy that was gonna beat up the gurl )
so in order to be a stiletto it has to have that type of blade? like this is gonna sound dumb... i have never had any experience with knifes besides my switch blade stubby... plus im really wasted now so if this makes no sence comenet back so i can asked it again in the prober way lol
I did not some company in China did called Super Knife which is owned by Gerber. The design is similar but with knives they simply have to make the knife 20% different from the original to avoid patent violations. So it is similar but not quite, I'm sure Cold Steel would not like it but then they should take it up with Gerber.
ti-lite knockoff LOL

this is a dumb question but im a fifteen year old kid that wants to get into knife collection anyways...
is that a switch or a spring assit?
IbanezFreak2112 3 years ago
Neither son. It is a thumb stud opening and a flipper system opening which is manual all the way. The knife has a stiletto design and that is it.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
that is very kick ass, I am getting one just like that with a silver blade instead of black
sudajared 3 years ago
It looks like Mtech Black Stinger

I don't understand.
Never before have I seen the black model...that's all.
Clear things up, please? Haha.
elgolfhombre 3 years ago
This is a clone version and is not automatic at all. This has a thumb stud to allow for quick opening.
Roadsideimports 3 years ago
is that spring assisted or are you just pressing ut out? because it seemes like you use some force on your thumb.
naits360 4 years ago
This model is not spring assisted, it is a thumb stud linerlock model
