O'Reilly is a certifiable moron. Depak on the other built his entire courier on feel good delusions so he has to stick with it. No wonder 46% of this country diagnosed with some kind of mental illness or mental disorder...
Can somebody pls pass me the clip, or any kind of evidence at all, where Bill OReilly kicked ANYONES butt? George Carlin said it is a waste of time to ever watch Bill OReilly ... Im not going to bother watching another one of Bills shows EVER again. DONE. The man is a MORON.
The Bible says that God created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden doesn't it? It says that God created the first two human beings doesn't it? So the Bible completely contradicts Evolution.
You can not argue with a religious person. Religion is a mental illness. The religious deal with anxiety by believing in a giant all powerful father in the sky who protects them. They obsess over behaviors like having to wear special hats, or say certain words in order to appease this ever-watchful disciplinarian. That is simply a cross between OCD, delusion and paranoia.
@Mee551able You know the Bible is Not Toilet Paper!!! Even Satan knows that! My friend, your thoughts are distorted beyond any ability for you to accept the truth. But that's okay, sometimes we need to see the dark side to appreciate the light!

Bill O'Reilly could not be any further away from the truth. Has this guy even opened up a fucking history book? Could he PLEASE tell me the ideologies of John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin?
@Xmaggot93X I don't know what you learned in school but the leaders of the various colonies, states, and ultimately the Founding Fathers themselves were steeped in biblical thinking. They drew from the Bible examples and looked for confirmation of ideas for government in Scripture.
@MindfulGod "The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." - Abraham Lincoln

@Xmaggot93X Because if you read other sources you will find out otherwise. Does it even make sense that this country was not based on Christianity when you have 'In God We Trust' on the money and in the court systems. Aren't the laws of this country somewhat reflective of the Bible? Surely you can see it, there is no question about it! At least that's what I see...
@MindfulGod Well I have no doubt that Christianity is the dominant religion in this country (especially in politics). "One nation under God" was a later installment into the formerly-secular pledge of allegiance.
Was this country founded on biblical grounds? For this question, I'd have to say no. Nowhere in the Bible did it mention due process, gun ownership, or search and seizure.
I'm now curious as to whether Muslims believe that American laws are somewhat reflective of the Qur'an.
@Xmaggot93X Without a doubt the Qur'an shaped Muslim laws, the Qur'an is God and Government all in one! I found a list of facts showing the relation between Bible and Gov. if you care to check out. faithfacts (dot) org/christ-and-the-culture/the-bible-and-government
@pimpinprice4U He actually does know the Scientific Method and it's Quantum Physics!! Understand that and you will be that much closer to understanding God! Fact is the best scientists can't wrap themselves around The New Science... so we continue to suffer with the primitive thinking we currently have.
@MindfulGod Are you being serious? Quantum Physics is not the Scientific Method. It's studied by use of SM(not that kind) but that is not being the same thing. That's like saying a microscope is a germ because you can use it to study a germ. And the only primitive thinking here is the belief in a sky fairy and a talking snake. If you're going to try and correct me at least do so with an intelligent comment.
@pimpinprice4U Quantum physics contains many clues as to the fundamental nature of the universe & is more important then even relativity in the grand scheme of things. Furthermore, it describes the nature of the universe as being much different then the world we see. Quantum physics provides us with a far more precise map of a part of God's creation, & in this respect we get more precise knowledge & understanding of God.
@MindfulGod You're just trying to twist facts like many Christians do but i'm not buying your BS. QF does not in any way shape or form prove that the biblical god exist. There's a reason 93% of scientist in the American National Academy of Sciences identify themselves as either atheist or agnostic, because in all of there studies they have found nothing to support your god.
@MindfulGod I can respect your faith, I just don't want it in my science. Scientist don't go into churches and pretend to be preachers, but bible nuts try to pass creationism off as a science.
@MrDinomita The same way all planets are created of course. Youtube doesn't allow enough characters to explain it however there are countless websites, books, movies, and magazines that explain it in great detail. To any citizen of the USA. Bill O'Reilly states that the US Justice system is based on the 10 commandments, so could you please tell me if Blasphemy is still a crime in the US. I would just be interested to know.
The bible was an inspiration to our founding fathers, and they took a lot of common laws from the bible, mainly our ten commandments. It is not a direct plagiarism, but are concepts which we all live and abide by, regardless of whomever believes what. There's a reason our motto is "In God We Trust"; our government entrusts in biblical law. I hate O'Reilly with a passion, but he is on point with his statements here at least. I still hate bible thumping though.
@NyanCrack I would like to add also, Atheism is the lack of religion, therefore it can not be a religion. To the people on here who seriously think O'Reilly is lying on his main thesis he is not; I've know for a fact that our government was built by biblical standards since I was a child. I'm sorry to burst all the Atheists' bubbles here but he is correct whether you like it or not, the US does follow biblical rulings. This is why you swear with your hand on the bible in court.
The fact that Fox News gets good ratings and viewership is a testament not to how good the network is, but to how stultified the American public has become.
@chriss0008 He's been very sly in his delivery. He says the country was founded on Christian *values* - not *beliefs*. So as long as the laws cover the basics, like "do not kill", "do not steal", Etc... O'Reilly's statement stands correct.
@helpmetechshow And saying that USA was based on Christian values still is a lie. "Shall not kill" "Shall not steal"? Those aren't Christian values... They are just values every rational person have! They just happened to be in the Bible. They're are no "etc"! Also for everyone else, the law isn't based on the 10 commandments, it is based on 2 of the 10 almost everywhere in the world... Please, enlightened me if I'm wrong.
@chriss0008 So what you're saying is the Bible has rational things in it? I agree. Here are the rest of the connections most of us don't know on how the Bible influenced the establishment of this Republic. faithfacts (dot) org/christ-and-the-culture/the-bible-and-government
@chriss0008 Founding Father and educator Noah Webster (1758-1843) had this to say: "The moral principles and precepts contained in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery, and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible."
The thing about people like Bill O'Reilly who try to throw "science" under the bus is that they don't appreciate how much Science has accomplished in the last 500 years. This is why they talk about "science" not being able to "create a human cell" as if it's an easy thing to do.
In Chopra's apology he said that he's more inline with Dawkins than with O'reilly. Even though Chopra and Dawkins have fundamental differences, Chopra admits that he doesn't agree with O'reillys point of view. >>> Hey @mindfulgod why won't you link Chopra's apology vid also???
