I've seen some videos, but I'm still unsure which one is faster - they both seem similar in speed Tamron with AF motor or when the body is using its own motor (screw type).

wow i think tamron af is slow but it's fast. Are u using tamron 17-50 built in motor or not ?? tq

It's the old version without it.

For examlpe Sigma 50/1.4 is useless for AFC shooting, this Tamron is suprisingly better.
