if the singer had learned the lyrics i'd say that is better than the dream theater cover.of the course they need practise but i think they are not so far from it
How the hell is this anywhere near as good as the Dream Theater cover? Half the time they're playing the wrong notes and during the dual-harmony at the end one of them is completely in the wrong key. Not to mention the fact that I can't even if the vocalist is using words at all or just muttering sounds.
I liked it. I was actually thinking earlier today that a female singer on this song would be good, and lo and behold, this is the first cover that I checked.
Even though this is a pretty ropey recording, it is obvious that the singer is the weak point here. This is decently played, but the vocals just tank it. And the one guitarist has to lose those scarves.
