well you're obviously an amateur or rookie to thrash. any dumbass band can get up on stage, downtune their guitars, play songs consisting of 3 power chords and consider it heavy. the 80's became oversaturated with such bands.

try writing a thrash song like Hangar 18 that doesn't have a single power chord in it. that my friend is an amazing accomplishment. bands like exodus and testament were metallica ripoffs. megadeth sounded nothing like metallica
