I used to live across the street from a public park that had a little animal inclosure. It had monkeys but no elephant! It did, however, have a place where people could board horses. So there could have been a man riding a horse just like in Ernie's story!

At first, I thought he was going to say this: Ernie: Except for one thing. Bert: What's that? Ernie: The fireworks. (fireworks exploding, whistling through the air) Bert: Ernie, I know, I'm going to regret this, but why are there fireworks? Ernie: It's the Fouth Of July, & all those people are there. (same sounds from before, American music playing, hot dog vendors calling out, Bert moans, digs his head into his pillow, video ends)

Ernie should of told bert that also during the night in the park, theres always someone with firecrackers.. then pull a bunch of firecrackers and throw them on the ground to make it sound like some kid lighing firecrackers in the park at night (of course eventually making Bert scream like miss piggy and even more irritated but hey thats what Ernie does best..kehehhehehe)

This reminds of the skit when Bert and Ernie went camping and they're laying in their sleeping bags under the stars.. Ernie keeps hearing the night noises and he lets his imagination get away with him.. Once again, he keeps Bert awake but this time with his paranoia.. I haven't come across that one yet. LOL! These guys are hilarious! even 30 years later.
