@Dragonflames86 Sima Yi never betrayed Wei. His children did, and by the time they did, Cao Cao was already dead. You can bet if he was alive he wouldnt be having any of that...
Even if the best qualities of all of Cao Cao's descendants was mashed together, they still wouldnt be in the same league as him. It is likely his talent and skill will never be replicated.
But Cao Pi was ruthless as well. He was far greater than any of his sucessors. After Cao Pi's death, the Wei empire slowly began to crumble. Cao Rui was okay, but not near as much as his father or especially his grandfather. I am not a huge Wei fan, but one can not help but respect those two in more ways than most.
you do know Cao Pi never did much, he just sat around and let Sima Yi and his other retainers do everything, Cao Cao was present at most of his battles commanding especially in his early days were he had little fame or men.
@LingFangKou Meh, the only thing he's legendary for is his mediocrity, and forced abdication of Han Xian Di. Cao Cao didn't need to overthrow the emperor and can still act like an emperor.
-That's quite a mountain you have to climb there.

I wonder....could Cao Pi really ever overcome his father? Cao Cao is a true legend, but so is Cao Pi.
